I didn't think that Brad was a bad guy at all, but that's the stupid part of survivor, is they bring in all these panty waisted namby pambies who's feelings get stomped on and they cry. Or better yet, they get these people who's idea of strategy is to do nothing and get sucked along by actual players.

Personally I would love to see a survivor with 16 psychopaths, complete mad dogs with no remorse who were raised in the poorest parts of the country. They could do it at Alcatraz.

This show is really starting to grate on me, love the concept hate a lot of players for the wrong reason.

I dunno, considering that they boil down 72 hours into 15ish Minutes (episode time minus Challanges/Tribal/Commercials/Other Tribe) they have to cut a lot so it's quite possible that her claims are true and the footage weren't deemed good enough to air or it simply conflicted with the overall narrative of the season.

I gotta say that I loved the burning of the idol clue. I thought that was a wise move for Monica. She's in the dominant alliance on the returners tribe she's almost guarenteed to make the merge so why mess with a good thing.

I hate how every vote is being called a "blindside" these days. Everyone knew Laura M. was on the bottom of the tribe, and it was just a matter of which Laura they would vote out first. Sure they can disguise it with editing, but it was a pretty easy vote tonight.

The tribe shakeup next week is going to put my two in jeopardy, but at least interest should pick up. It won't be so easy voting out the minority tribe when you'd might be voting out family members. Laura B will be an easy vote, maybe Caleb as well, but after that who knows.

In the shows "lore" a blindside is basically when the person going home thinks (has been told) that they're staying. It's perfectly valid to call that a blindside if Laura M. was led to believe she'd be there the next day.

I think at this point it's time to start targeting the players with both loved ones still in play. Aras and Vytas, Kat and Hayden, Tina and Katie. If the merge happens next week, it's going to turn this game on it's head. The dynamic will be totally different and most alliances should go out the window.

I was actually rooting for Candice before this episode. She made Brad out to be a bad guy without even knowing what was going on in either tribe, just because his wife wrote her name down in the first episode?

Looks like there's gonna be a mix up next episode and something interesting to think about is that they can mix up the tribes by having a 'Blood' tribe (people who still have loved ones) and a 'Water' tribe (people who don't) and both would have equal number of men and women.

Blood: Aras, Vytus, Kat, Hayden, Tina, Katie
Water: Tyson, Gervase, Monica, Laura B, Caleb, Cierra

This is all speculation because I don't think they have ever mixed up the tribes in a predetermined way, but it would make for some interesting situations and it would put the Blood vs Water title to the test.

^ Makes sense, but if they go that route the Water tribe would likely be slaughtered in many challenges when they have three of the top four physical competitors on one tribe.

I like Candice for very superficial reasons, but, I knew she wouldn't last long (and indeed, was the first person actually voted out of their tribe this season) because she's simply too outwardly competitive.

Going to miss watching her in challenges, though.

In the past I believe there have been multiple entry points for the people at Redemption Island.. this looks like a good time for two people to re enter the game.

I am guessing that whoever wins next week will be allowed to jump back in AND they will either merge or mix up the tribes. A merge would throw them at 14 people? That seems a bit high.. so maybe the old egg colour picking thing for new tribes.

Glad to see Candice go home, could not stand her this season.. but I am glad John is still around I definitely want to see him go far.

the best part of the episode - and maybe all season - was at the very end during the credits when Laura walks into Redemption Island and Brad, half asleep, says "how did you LOSE the Immunity challenge?".

Finally caught up to everything.

I think Candice is not getting a fair shake. Sure she was annoying but I think most would have been pretty bitter after being voted off first then seeing your loved one blindsided by someone you already heard a lot of bad things from. Not even really given a chance to play the game. Given she definitely could have handled it better even after all that happened.

Brad simply played too hard too fast. Big moves so early just paint a huge target on your back.

Pretty stupid mistake to forget the most important part of the challenge by the two ladies. Amazing they even came back and could have won that challenge.
