Are you basically idling every game that has trading cards to get that initial drop finished off, or are you somehow getting booster packs? I mean, I only have about 10 cards right now and I'd stand to make a couple bucks at best. Seems like a ton of effort for little reward.

I've just been playing the games that have card drops a bit this week (new ones I've bought, and a few old ones as well).
Not to mention you get one for every $10 spent in the sale (I'm ~$50 so far now), and 1 for every 4 daily votes (haven't missed a vote yet).

I think most of my cards have sold anywhere between $0.15-0.30. I had a large number of cards built up simply by playing the games and decided to unload them on Tuesday just to see what you could get. It doesn't seem like much but when you're selling 40+ cards it adds up quickly.

So far:
Walking Dead
Bioshock Infinite
Arkham City
Dishonoured
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
All for less that one game on launch. Patience has it's benefits.
Probably wait for a new PC to play everything but WD, though.

Suprisingly I've mostly been buying DLC for games I already own. The damage so far.
Tomb Raider: Survival Edition - $14.49
Lost Adventurer DLC - $0.74
Hitman Absolution Professional - $7.49
Deadlight - $3.74
Total War: Shogun 2 DLC - $5.59
Dishonored DLC - $6.43
Sins of a Solar Empire: Forbidden Worlds - $2.49
Sleeping Dogs DLC - $5.71
Surgeon Simulator - $3.39 (great for the lols)
Total: $50.07
That total actually caught me off guard haha. But I've also made close to $20 selling Trading cards and TF2 items.

Only thing interesting today is Far Cry 3 and I am not willing to pay $20-30 for it.

Do you guys recommend Tropico 4?
Also, if Crusader Kings 2 goes on sale (it is on the voting list), I would recommend it. It's a pretty simple game (for a Paradox game), but extemely addictive, has a very active mod community and even slightly educational. I got it last year, I think on the Steam sale, and am still addicted.

I bought Tropico 4 (and it's DLCs) just to wash the taste of SimCity out of my mouth. I mean, it was $8 and looks like it has a good sense of humour.

I've played Tropico 3 and from what I've heard it's a lot like 4. Pretty fun game. I enjoy when my people take up arms against me lol.
