I keep having to ask myself, "Is it too early to panic?".
In fairness to the club, I think we might not yet be past the deadline to remain calm and the club has done a fair bit of business making room for new players. Also, we are so connected these days and there are so many stories that make it feels worse than it actually is.
With that being said, it would be nice to get everything sorted early. Anyway, I should probably go start studying for my exam tomorrow...

Do you play keeper? I heard Babayaro FC's keeper got one, among other gifts...

Probably right after Spurs sign a top-level striker.

Norwich sign Leroy Fer from Twente. What a beauty of a summer they are having - Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Nathan Redmond, Martin Olsson, Javier Garrido and Leroy Fer. They and Swansea (Wilfried Bony, Jonjo Shelvey, Jordi Amat) have been very impressive in terms of transfers this summer.

Confirmed, Thiago joins Bayern. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionslea...d=1971605.html
I'm really not sure about this move. Where does he fit?
In my mind, Bayern needs a centre back to play with Dante. Perhaps Martinez will be dropped back (I don't like that idea). Plus, Kroos is already waiting in the wings for his chance

7. Was pretty confident of those 7 (too much time playing FIFA) but got all of my guesses wrong.

exactly the same for me - knew 7, guessed the other 3 (nr 3, 6 and 9) and got them all wrong

7. I got two premiership teams wrong which makes sense since I don't follow English football and I thought one was Valencia.

BBC is saying Man United bid 25m for Cesc
Phil McNulty not a rumor monger so I think it's safe to say it's legit
why would Arsenal not block that, they have first refusal, at least make United pay another 10m more to get him
Cesc>>>>>>>>>>>Thiago (at least now and for the next few years)
it was only 3-4 years ago that after Xavi/Iniesta/Pirlo the next group of guys were considered to be Alonso/Modric/Cesc/Yaya/De Rossi
he hasn't gotten any worse, he's just been played out of position

I call BS. Zero chance that Barcelona lets both Thiago and Fabregas leave.

United's offer is being considered but is understood to be below the Spanish club's valuation of the player.
While Fabregas is not pushing for a move, it is believed he is open to a return to England.
He was part of Arsenal team which beat Manchester United on penalties in 2005 FA Cup
final - their last trophy
The 26-year-old will be guided by whether Barcelona are prepared to accept an offer for him.
|
my favorite part is below their valuation LOLOLOLOL
"we won't pay Arsenal a cent over this"
player is no better, 2 years older
"this is under our valuation"

From what I've read, Arsenal can only step in once Barac is prepared to sell and accepts a bid. At that point, Arsenal have the option to buy him back at a set price.
