3-Zip. Nice of the Capitals to show up tonight on home ice. Meaningless game I guess. At least now Ovechkin can head to the World's, which is pretty much the only time he puts in a consistent effort.

Capitals just can't get over the hurdle that is the NY Rangers. Shame as we now have to watch another series of this boring Rangers hockey.

Ovechkin has 10 hits according to NHL.com. That seems like quite a bit.

Man do the Caps ever suck in game 7's. I don't know what their goal differential would be, but it can't be good

Caps fans are tortured. They always lose game 7 at home, it is pretty much a tradition. I can only remember that one federov goal but that's it!

You cant say the Caps didnt show up. Holtby after looking great all series hasnt looked good. Caps have outplayed them 75% of the game.
Ovechkin has at least 10 hits and a good chunk of them have been big!
Boston miracle in Washington needed.

Wow Capitals never showed up. They played a good 1st but Lundqvist made some huge saves. 2nd and 3rd they fell apart. Rangers/Bruins will be a good series.

Are they 10 effective hits or the late, big, useless hits that AO tends to throw to show he is "in the game" but would have been better served to play the puck and try and stop the pass that the opponent easily made because AO was coming with the "big hit"?

Man...Caps are playing pretty good, the difference tonight is the goaltending by a wiiiiide margin. This sucks.

Ovechkin should worry about playing hockey instead of running guys into the boards. Which he has on several hits I've seen, borderline dirty hits from OV which is nothing unusual for him.

Ovechkin doesn't know how to show up for the big games, his energy focus is all wrong.

Shots are 40-24 for the Rangers, so I wouldn't say it's the only difference.

Just watching the West vs the East this year, teams like LA and Chicago are better then anyone in the East IMO. I think the Stanley Cup winner comes from the West.
