Yep, because if there's one thing that we know about the NHL it's that players get lots of cracks at the cup. Especially 35 year olds.

Yeah:
30th-Stanley Cup Winner
29th-Stanley Cup Finalist
28th/27th-Conference Finalist
Then come the division winners based on regular season standings
And then the remaining playoff teams based on regular season standings

So Penguins drop to 25th if they're out in the first 2 rounds along with Chicago (who would pick 26th).

I dont really like it when people say there is no difference between piking 25th-30th. If thats the case I would rather the Flames have the 26th pick and trade down to 30th and get a 2nd/3rd round pick to boot! We all know this franchise isn't afraid to do that and having a 25th pick opposed to the 30th pick gives the Flames the freedom to do that. Thats just my opinion anyways.

With regards to what Healy is saying, I can understand why the Rangers wouldn't be pleased with playing two outdoor games in one week. Particularly if they won't get any of the revenue like he says.

..Honestly, the STL and PIT picks can land where they may, I just want a pick in the TOP 4.

(aka, the "sure thing" zone)

Iginla will sign with a powerhouse, if not re-sign with the Penguins.

Like I said, he will get a few more cracks at the cup. Likely just as good of a shot as this year if he stays in Pittsburgh.

I want the Flames to get the best draft pick possible.
