Most of the media pundits chose them to be among the worst teams in the league before the season began. I'd say they have performed right where they were supposed to, I certainly don't blame it on Hartley.

So in other words Brent Sutter is a brilliant coach because last years team had less talent and he got them to 90 points? It's a travesty the way this team plays defense.

Post Apex means they are past their prime (see: trading for Jarome Iginla like the Pens did).

This makes me happy, because it means they won't be going after overpriced UFAs, which are typically 27-30+ years old.

Feasters plan is to get younger, bigger, faster, stockpile assets, and not bring in players past their prime. Sounds pretty much what every single poster on here has been wanting for a long long time. Seems like a good plan to me.
