I think like a lot of season ticket holders, I'm willing to be patient as long as I can see a clear direction from the Flames. This includes both on the ice and off (new arena). I'd say a new arena announcement will have almost as much of an impact on renewals as drafting a bunch of new young talent.

I'm really hoping some people in the first few rows of the PL section cancel their seasons, I'd love to upgrade mine to slightly better seats!

I'll be interested in seeing how my ticket partners react this off season.

Toughest seats to get in the Dome. I had to put up with seats across the aisle from each other for four seasons before I was able to upgrade. That included being first or second in line on upgrade day, running as fast I could up to the third level only to find nothing available.

I have been a STH holder for two seasons and a STH sharer prior for three seasons. The game has been much more exciting to watch this year than in the last couple of years. Much quicker pace, more enjoyable product.
I would like to move down closer in the whites with a lot of people hopefully moving on and pick up a STH sharer. We have some exciting times ahead and it's a breath of fresh air in the building to be honest. There is excitement and an unknown compared to what was a known for 2-3 too many seasons.

As an an east coast Flames fan, season tickets aren't a concern for me, but it will be a tough decision about whether or not to get Center Ice. I defjnitely would if the Flames were staying in the same division, but it's going to be much tougher to stay up for all the 10pm and 10:30pm starts when wins and losses don't matter. I'll probably buy it anyway, but the having the rebuild coincide with the team becoming much less convenient for us east coasters is unfortunate.

I think I'd be more interested in going to games next year, than I was this year.

The Flames are definitely waiting until the team is officially eliminated from the playoffs before sending out the season ticket renewals...thus avoiding alienating season tickets holders by asking them to pay for playoffs that they are not going to make.

Makes sense at this point. I'd be annoyed if I got a renewal notice that wanted payment for 4 rounds of playoffs. But then of course if they didn't charge for them, it'd put them in an awkward position if the young guys somehow win out the string and make the playoffs. Definitely better to wait, imo.

Or another possibility is that the Flames have a big announcement to make at seasons end, ie. new building or new President, and would like to use that announcement to entice season ticket holders to renew.

The season tickets renewals are out. It looks like the Greens stayed the same, but my Row 3 Blacks increased $94 for the 2013-14 season.

Whites appear to be $2,914/seat. I believe they were about $2,855 last season, so an increase of about 2.1%.

Wow. The audacity of this organization to actually increase prices when putting out a losing team with a reduced payroll. Young guns v2.
That seals the deal for me, definitely not renewing.

These figures are after early renewal discount and include increases in Ticket Price, Saddledome Foundation Public Facility Fee and GST.
Red 1 + 2.9 %
Silver + 2.1 %
Gold + 2.1 %
Club Fee + 5.3 %
Note there was an increase of more than 5.3 % in the Club Fee last season.

Sorry if that's the case it looks like a 6.8 % increase for whites by my quick math.
