Yes, I'm looking right now for the clip but I haven't seen it put up online, the furthest back the fan's bigshow archives go back is the 7th.
I'd like to hear it too because I caught just the tail end of the point he was making about ownership and direction.

Im going to keep track of all you who "swear to stop watching" or "Ill give up my season tickets" and see if you follow through with that. If you don't like the product or the team then fine....each to there own but if you are going to make declarations like that and expect to be taken even half ass serious then follow through or don't say it at all.
I like the flames. Im a fan. I will cheer for them win or loose. I may get frustrated but I know damn well that if I had the means or the opportunity to be at every game I would be.

Otto it's not that we aren't fans. we are just really tired of seeing the same B.S. Last year I went to 14 games and walked out on Two. This year we didn't renew our game packs and then received a call from the flames offering us more game packs.
I've been offered tickets to about five games this year and have politely refused. I decided to take a leave from the flames.
Their mandate to just get to eighth and anything can happen is B.S. Who strives for eighth? They even have the players buying into getting to eighth, Tangs did and interview on 960 and said that if they get to eighth anything can happen.
Players, Management, owners, coaches all striving for a bottom playoff spot! We need a change from ownership down! I'll even take from management down. We need a Winning Attitude! Time for change.

I gave up my tickets and stopped watching them on TV this season. I am much happier for it. BTW somebody else will need to make the half-season and end-season report card thread, since I have only seen about 5 minutes of Flames hockey. I do appreciate all the good posters on here that convey "the spirit of the thing".

So Sven back to Abby and Brodie getting more and more limited ice. Good way to develop your youth for tomorrow

The tickets are free for me, I've gone to 15-20 games each of the last three seasons. I have not been to one game this year.
Reasons:
1. It's not easy finding people at my clients and prospects that want to go.
2. The Dome is an embarrassing dump, it is a giant port-a-potty.
3. When Flames play bad, at home I can turn off the TV. At the Dome I am stuck, often with someone that I am hosting.
Pocket Dogs, mini donuts and lemonade are the highlight of the games when I went last year. The pretzels are OK too.

I've turned down 3 games this year and have only watched the first Calgary/Van game, as i was at a buddy's house for beers, and he wanted to watch them...cause i hated the lockout and said I was going to boycott this year as a result
definitely much happier for it.

i am cheering for the jackets/avs/oilers to jump the flames in the standings. you'd have to think if that happens over the next few weeks, there is absolutely NO WAY the flames don't make changes.

didn't say I wasn't a hockey fan; just that I thought it was hypocritical to bitch and moan about the greed of the owners and players during the lockout, only to kiss and make up right when the strike was over.
But hey, to each their own. I'd prefer not to line the pockets of millionaire players and multi millionaire owners that don't give a crap about what the average joe thinks.

What's with the pissing match about who misses going to/watching the game less? Is that the new cool thing to do? The new hipster?
Sorry you guys can't enjoy it anymore, suggest to the ticket giver's to give Kids Up Front a call

He's played less minutes the last two games. Seems like he's on a short leash. Comeau had more icetime than Brodie yesterday.
