They need a search warrant for Oakes' basement. And possibly for under his patio.

The idea of taking positives from a loss... I'm so done with that. It must take a lot of mental gymnastics to keep on being satisfied with this team

I think we were all hoping for some crazy euro skills, but from what little I've seen of Cervenka, he definitely comes across to me as more of a playmaker than a scorer. He kind of seems like Tanguay in many ways... he makes the plays, but needs someone to do all the shooting.

Meh can't complain about that game. Deserved the win. Played really well against one of, if not the top teams in the league. No real stand out poor players. Just some luck with the Hawks.
I hope this team shows up a lot more.

Huh? Kipper wasn't the busier of the 2 goaltenders but still made the saves to keep us in the game when it was 0-0

Sure it was a entertaining team, but this team is bad, and there is a good chance we finish last in the NHL.
?????? After seeing that game you think the flames will finish last? If anything that game has me thinking 9th place and no trades.

Yep, got to see the shooter everyone wanted to see, not impressed. But, I still think a great pp line would be Cervenka, Hudler and Iginla.

It's fair though.

I honestly don't think they could have kept up with a team of Sarich and Pardys. The last time I can remember a team looking that out of it were the Flames in that 9-0 Boston game.

Its coming around, it is apparent. Best 59 minutes of hockey in three years. Loss hurts more than usual because we dominated the team. But Emery proved to be the deal breaker.

Kipper looked better tonight, by a mile.

Hudler is amazing and is now proving he was more than a secondary part in the wings success.

Backlund needs a bounce or two but otherwise was awesome tonight.

All four lines were very solid. D was great.

the score decieves but we owned that game. Cannot complain too much.

Awesome game. If anyone is going to be negative and overreact about this game, they are a nut case

I think Cervenka saw that two dekes were read easily by Emery so he went for something different, the quick wrister which Emery was fortunate to get a shoulder on.

Scott Oake is disappointed in you, Sharp.

At least he's stopped with the soft little leg hand brushes he used to do.

Well he did score a lot of goals in the KHL so he knows how to put the puck in the net. Possibly NHL goaltenders aren't giving up what he's used to maybe.

Can we draft MacKinnon or Jones yet??

Baertschi-Mackinnon-Hudler would be a fun line to watch

Pissed that we have to wait 3 more days to dominate the red wings. Lace 'em up boys. Keep your heads high!

Coming away with a point against the best team in the NHL?

I'll take it. Play like this and we may just climb outta the cellar. Maybe.

That's ok at least they care and losing a game after such dominance does hurt.

Last year losses didn't even hurt anymore, we didn't care.
