A US Pint is 473mL. An Imperial Pint is 568mL.

If you get a European beer and it's served in a branded glass, it will usually be served in a half litre glass.

Don't drink a lot. Maybe a dozen pints a year. Glass of champagne on New Year's, an eggnog at Christmas, that sort of thing.

The alcoholics in my life ruined it for me, and I actually wrote about it a few weeks ago.

Mind = blown.

My friend just informed me that there is an entire sub-reddit devoted to people taking pictures of themselves drinking beer in the shower.

Showerbeer is the best. Especially after soccer games.

Wouldn't you just be drinking all the shower water?

What? No. Maybe if you poured it into a glass or something.

I actually have a shelf in my shower for my beer. Nobody tell my fiancee....

That's not a good reason to say 4 beers is too many for the OP. Maybe it's just me but 4 beers in a night is nowhere close to a Sunday-ruin-er. Useless Sundays are caused by about 16+ drinks on Saturday. I think most guys can handle 4 drinks without feeling the effects the next day, I barely get a buzz from 4.

My alcohol content doesn't really increase on the weekend; I can have up to three on any given night, usually less though, maybe two at most. Life is better with a beer.

I would say I get 'drunk' maybe twice a month. Often times less.

I enjoy beer, but I seldom have one. I barely drink alcohol to begin with.

I've been thinking about cutting back on my beer intake. I'd probably lose 20 lbs in a couple months. But then Saturday night comes around, and all bets are off.

On that note the rise of my beer consumption can be directely related to how often I have to talk to my ex wife.

I was under the impression that scientist are saying that a beer or two a day is good for you?

All I know is my grandpa enjoyed a drink or two a day (beer or rye usually) and he was in pretty awesome shape even in his mid 80's.

Porter in the shower isn't as good as Pilsner in the shower...

But it's better than milk in the shower.

CP does it again! I haven't had a shower beer in years! Used to all the time after hockey or when getting ready to go to the bar. Just finished the second snow-blower/shovel routine and went to have a shower with a beer before heading to the Knights game. It. Was. Awesome.

At my current rate of consumption, I think my lifetime average for beers consumed is about 1 per 4 or 5 years.

By the time I die, at this rate, I will have consumed maybe a whole dozen.
