Thanks for the pointer. I was able to pick up the last two tickets in Calgary for Saturday through a comic book shop. I thought I had missed my chance to meet the Emperor.

I wanted to get a few things signed by Stan Lee. Last year I spent the good part of Saturday in line for an autograph. I noticed there was a company who took care of getting things signed so you didn't have to wait. Anyone know if they are around this year?

Bit of an update via email I thought I'd pass on for anyone interested:
- no tickets will be sold on site. Some children's passes still left though for ages 3 to 12 accompanied by an adult with a pass.
- Tom Felton, Danai Gurira and Jessica Nigri won't be making it. Melissa McBride will take Danai Gurira's spot for all the Walking Dead related stuff.
That is pretty much it.

No, check the b&m shops for hard copy tickets. I bought my weekend pass and a Sunday pass last Thursday so there may still be some available.

For sure they did. Last year it was such a mess was because they sold the one day passes but didn't specify which day you had to come. So of course everyone came on the Saturday. hahaha. this year they sold 20,000 to 25,000 weekend passes and i think 20,000 single day passes for Friday, Sat and Sun. It's going to be massive!

So they cut the attendance this year? I sorta recall they had 50,000 last year during the gongshow.
At least it took them a very long time before tickets were finally all gone. Hard for people to complain about scalpers at this point.
Dinner with the Lannisters is all gone finally too. Tons of Weird Al tickets still available though.

Was hoping to snag a last minute pass to grab a picture with Stan Lee. Shame that I procrastinated so much that its all sold out now. Damn. Maybe Eliza Dushku will suffice. :P

Just got back from the Vancouver Expo. I think they doubled their attendance from last year but boy are those guys cheap asses. hahaha. No disposable income after paying their rents or mortgages.
Can't wait for this weekend!
