Broncos were inches away from covering and ruining a lot of tickets.

Turned what was a very ugly weekend into just a bad weekend going 5-7-0 after middling the HOU -8/NYJ +10 and putting 2U on the Under (41.5) which barely held on. Haven't looked to see what kind of loss I took overall but will update with this weeks picks.

Went 5-4. Not great, but that's now three straight winning weekends. Jumped all over PHI -4.5 when it went down from 6. Also like STL +3.5, NE -3.5, ARI -5, NYG +5, TB -3.5, IND +3, TEN +5.

Some pretty good early lines for this week.

BAL -4 vs DAL
CIN -3 at CLE
TB -3.5 vs KC
MIA -3.5 vs STL
NE-4 at SEA

Miami, Tampa and Baltimore all at home to boot.

you actually trust Dallas!?

I'm not sure they could win an intersquad game.

They're coming off the bye, and who has Baltimore beat impressively?

on paper it makes sense but Dallas will give up the ball many times and we'll all laugh at them again.

Dallas has had a good 2 weeks to plan for this. Plus they get Ratliff and Spencer back on D. That will help them a lot. Baltimore has no idea how to get to the QB anymore without Suggs. I like Dallas a lot in this game.

Was going to skip the Thursday nighter because I won't be able to watch because of poker but saw PIT -7 at +110 so I jumped on it. I really like the under in this game as TEN will probably score about 10pts.

WEEK 6

Pittsburgh -7 (1U) - LOSS
Indianapolis +3 (1U) - LOSS
Tampa Bay -4 (1U) - WIN
Miami -4.5 (1U) - LOSS
New England -3.5 (1U) - LOSS
Minnesota -1.5 (1U) - LOSS
NY Giants +6.5 (1U) - WIN
Green Bay ML +160 (1U) - WIN
San Diego -1 (1U) - LOSS

Betting 9U, Possible Winnings 9.2U

Week 1: Missed
Week 2: 3-3-0 (-0.34U)
Week 3: 5-3-0 (+2.00U)
Week 4: 7-2-1 (+4.63U)
Week 5: 5-7-0 (-2.42U)
Week 6: 3-6-0 (-2.58U)
TOTAL: 23-21-1 (1.29U)

Realized that I went 0-5 on my drunk betting night, 5-2 for sober HOOT, so I will have to avoid that at all costs going forward. Haven't had a ton of time this week to look at games but i like NE, BAL, TB, ARZ and PHI. I may look at the under on tonight's game as well.

Added Minny -1.5

Cowboys always find a way...

Illegal shift on offense negates a first down

Hands to the face on defense negates a 3rd down stop.

Murray has run for nearly 100 yards in just over a quarter and it's 10-10.

I NEED Houston to have a big second half. I'll explain after but they must absolutely win this game for me.

I'm praying like crazy to the football gods

Well now that it looks like this game is in hand for GB I was 11 for 11 in todays games going into tonight picking all winners outright in pools.

Now I guess I have to hope for a win tomorrow night and 12/13 is good enough

I've decided I'm picking NFC teams every time they play an AFC team.

I had been even on the year after a good week last week. Started with $180 in the account this year and had $181 and change in there at the start of yesterday.

Made 8 bets, spent $180 2 were right. Not good.

Detroit was the one of 5 straight up and a 6 team teaser 1:00ET games that came through. $25 paid $68.

Okay at least there will still be money in there next week.

Took NE +3.5, dammit.

My other bet was a hope and a prayer:

Was + NYG + Buf to win $25 paid $531.46. Buffalo tried their hardest to lose, but somehow won despite themsleves and put me plus $415 on the day (and year)!

Let's all pray for a Denver win tonight and 12/13 is good enough in Sportselect Pools
