- Goals that shouldn't go in, go in often
- The skating engine makes playing as a defenseman unbearable and boring
- Super poke-check
- Removal of vision control (WTF)
- My skater's boosts are constantly being removed when I log in
- Not enough people online to play lately

I'll still try to come on and play games here and there.

P.S. you should all get Borderlands 2. It's a blast playing multiplayer co-op.
Been playing Borderlands 2 with Diemenz, I get sad when we have to stop playing. I'm starting to live my life like a quest. And when I finish the quest I reward myself. I see a flashing yellow light while driving and I speed up cause I'm excited about the drop and hope that it's that gun I'm looking for, then I realize I'm driving and slow down, plus I'm driving alone so no worries of someone jacking my loot.

Sounds pretty awesome and addresses some of my concerns. Now if only they'd put vision control back in the game.

I am a left d-man, good positioning and I love to shoot for rebounds. My guy has a really quick snap shot and I shoot low, I don't always have A+ because the game counts dump outs as giveaways but I always play position and make sure if there is a rebound I clear it. 2-way dman that focuses on keeping the puck in the offensive zone and clearing the net in our own zone while staying in position.

PSN: Shtoob

I hated the game when it came out, now I just hate the other guys on my team when they play out of position. I think I'm a 72 or 73 right now, my only weakness I guess is dumping it out too quickly sometimes but I almost never get icing because I like just shooting it up the boards if there's a lot of pressure. The only position I like at all is D, so yeah, add me if you guys need a d-man.

edit: I have a mic, I can play after 6pm most days

I'll set you up for a try out. We can always use D who can stay in position and make smart plays.

They are, so are dump ins. Big flaw in the grading system IMO

On a side note I'm down for some playoffs.

Pretty sure they do count as turn overs, as the commentators will some times say that the player "turned the puck over AGAIN!!?!?!"

I just played a game where I blocked about 10 shots, dumped it out maybe 15 times, slid and stopped 5 or 6 cross crease passes and got A+/C-/B. Worse was I was about to finally get my +/- way up winning 11-1 in another game and it DC'ed with 3 minutes.

i find sliding isn't really necessary anymore since your guy with enough def awareness and stick checking will get rid of it anyways and you won't waste time peeling yourself off the ice.

I slide when it's 2 or more on 1 and the guy is likely to make a pass. It makes it way easier on the goalie on the odd man rushes because he can focus on the shot, it works a lot. It most definitely has a use, I always get the "good job taking away the passing lanes out there" comment and my inbox is full of people inviting me to play/saying I'm good at D.
I'm not the best passer in the game, but I am really good at never leaving the goalie out to dry, I feel like the goalies sidekick.

i dunno, seems with the good ole short side deke glitch shot that cpu goalies seem to always let in the pass might not be the most dangerous thing on a 2 on 1 anymore. situational though of course
