I still haven't bought a case for my Nexus 7. I can't justify buying one online - I need to see it in person first.
Frankly, I'm a bit disappointed that there aren't any in the stores yet.

While a big hit, only compared to other tablets not including iPad. :/ You're basically gambling trying to find a case that isn't some universal (read: fits the ipad) case or the odd Samsung Galaxy 10.1
Though, credit to blackberry for putting out some accessories.

The Nexus 7 Dodocase is cheaply made too. They just provide adhesive stripes to stick it to the back of the case.

Personally I think the Dodocase stuff has always been cheap - bamboo and cloth book binding is a neat idea, but hardcover books fall apart all the time, why would I wrap my tablet in that. And the retention mechanism has always been subpar.
Anyways, I wonder if maybe the medium gadget sleeve from Saddleback would fit the Nexus:

It's not a case, but their stuff is ridiculously well made. I have their iPad case and its indestructible.

Some of the ones online aren't that particularly expensive. This leather one looks pretty nice.

^What's the ETA on delivery? I've been trying to get one off Kijiji for the past week because I was told anywhere from 2 weeks to a month if I order. No dice yet.

I'm still loving mine. Great $259 buy. Glad I did't drop $600+ for an iPad.

haha, we must have ordered within minutes of each other.
I also ordered a case, USB adapter and screen protector from amazon.ca as well.
Here is the case - http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B008...ls_o00_s00_i00
I ended up ordering the "Frequently Bought Together" package a little ways down

The estimated shipping date is between the 7th and the 13th. I suspect it will be the 13th.

Really glad I forewent an iPad for this. I was on the verge of getting a new iPad a couple months ago but thought better of it. I wouldn't trade a Nexus for one now. Love the smaller form factor and the relatively open Android ecosystem.

I just grabbed one of these at BestBuy yesterday and am finding it quite cool. I have an iPhone, but when price is taken in to account, this thing makes the iPad close to unjustifiable, in my eyes.
Is anyone using it to read PDF documents or anything like that? The tablet has a built-in viewer, but I'm wondering if anybody is aware of a higher-end viewing app.

I ordered approximately 30 minutes after you and I have an estimated arrival date of September 9th - 13th.
My order is still "In Progress".

Weird, maybe they changed their shipping policies recently or something.

For the most part I thought that rarely do Amazon vendors shop outside of the US?

There's some that do, but usually their shipping charges are crazy so the delight of finding one that will ship to Canada is usually replaced by the disappointment of $50 shipping fees.
I paid the regular Amazon shipping for mine though. Maybe that's why they changed, they weren't making money off of shipping to Canada.
