Redford supposed to be in a dogfight might be the funniest bad prediction tonight.

Who's fearmongering now?

Seriously, some of you Wild Rosers need to get a grip. You're acting like you just lost an election to Adolf Hitler.

I suspect Resolute 14 was right, earlier in the discussion thread: the Wild Rose lost this election to Leech and Hunsberger. Too much risk, not enough qualified candidates to be a credible alternative in the end.

I actually think Albertans made a wise choice tonight: I didn't vote PC, but I'm not going to complain about this result.

We can dream.

Oh go take a nap. If you seriously think Redford is now going to open up the health inquiry you're dreaming.

Looks like our fairly negotiated union contract will be safe. Was a bit worried because wildrose promised wage freezes.

WRP down to one seat in Calgary. Shocking stuff.

I'm not entirely surprised. I know a lot of people that were really leaning towards the WRP, but didn't like their local candidate as much the their PC candidate. I wouldn't be surprised if in the end the local candidate battle wins out over Smith vs Redford.

The health inquiry as to GP bullying will get swept under the rug. If it wasn't for this election, Redford would have done nothing about the comittee pay. I'm not happy with what's transpired but the voters have spoken.

So, still think that voter turnout will be really high?

That isn't just lazy voting, that's a strong mandate isn't it?

You can have a strong opposition to a majority, and a weak oppostion to a minority. WRP can exert a lot of pressure on the PCs through media and whatnot.

He didn't say that. I hope she does, I'm sure he hopes she does, but he didn't say that and it wasn't the point.
