Cash back on every purchase for some people.

That 1% on those $2 you spend add up.

I refuse to give my seat on the C-train to anyone (male or female) that isn't pregnant or obviously disabled.

I just hope elderly and people with children are considered "obviously disabled".

When telemarketers call, I fein interest then ask them to hold on because someone is at the door. I put them on speakerphone and see how long they will wait before hanging up.

Or 2% adds up. The MBNA worldpoints give 2 points per dollar, and they'll send you a cheque for $50 every time you get to 5000 points, so it's 2% cashback. New cardholders pay an $89 fee, former SPG cardholders are grandfathered at no fee.

You only need to spend $4450 per year to make back the fee compared to a 1% cashback card.

Requires a 70k income (or 120k household) shouldn't be a problem for the rich a-holes of CP.

I put everything on my credit card. It helps me track my spending and I spend less. If I have a $20 to buy a $2 coffee, I will end up spending the rest of the $20 at some point because when I have cash it burns a hole in my pocket, but that is not the case if I put it on my Visa.

I do that too. Also, I find putting stuff on a CC is about the same amount of time as paying cash and the cashier counting out change a lot of the time.

And way faster than the old ladies who need to count out 17 cents in pennies for their $3.17 purchase. That's an a-hole move, in my opinion.

one summer I had a bunch of religious roommates, and the house took on a creepy, wholesome feel. One afternoon I cut out photos from a porno magazine and stuck them in their bibles. 14 years later and I'm sure they're still finding them.

One time, on this internet forum, a guy asked us to vote for his video so he could win a prize. Instead of voting for him we voted for the girl who had the funniest sounding name. A guy made a nazi video about us helping her win and I laughed at it.

I really don't hold a candle to most of you. I'll do the brake tap if somebody is tailing me too close, but I don't know how a-holeish that actually is. The slight veer into the gravel-laden shoulder is just about the best thing to come out of this thread. I'm totally adopting that.

I sometimes shovel my sidewalk snow onto the street (the half closer to the street) because I don't park in front of my house. I guess that's about the worst thing I do.

I have a buddy who uses wet wipes for maximum cleanliness. He puts both his own ass-wipe and his kids dirty diapers in the recycle bin. I've had to make an honest effort to hang out with him less because every interaction raises my blood pressure.

As for almost getting your feet run over or worse inside a crosswalk, I think you have the right to A-hole 'em right back and try to 'punch' out their window if you are frightened, daring and livid enough.
I knew a guy who used to carry pieces of sparkplug porcelain in his hand for occasions where an @$$hole driver would cut off pedestrians in a crosswalk. He said he broke the back windows of four cars before he stopped this practice. Apparently driver number four threatened to beat his @$$ because he was laughing so hard. He said that was the reason he stopped doing it.

There's a good thread here on my exploits. Scroll to "Almost got run over today"

Here's a sample:
Alright, the title might be a little sensational for the actual story. As I was riding in to downtown on the MUP (just east of Edworthy Park), I was passed at great speed with very little warning.

My instinctive response, was to try and catch this speeding object and see if I could draft on the way in. It wasn't until I had accelerated from 30 to 48 km/h and realized this speeding object was still opening a gap that the logical part of my brain kicked in and told me that this was A) not possible for my legs keep up, and much more importantly B) this is insanely dangerous.

The speeding object was a mountain bike with two panniers, and was doing at least 55 km/h at 8:15 am. I am convinced there was a motor of some sort in this bike since the rider wasn't even trying to be aerodynamic in his posture.

I'm wondering if it is worth calling 311 to complain, or if I just inviting a ticket on myself (I was doing 30 in the first place). But my concern is what sort of mayhem this individual is going to cause in congested areas. For example I had to slow to almost a complete stop behind a small child just two minutes down the path to wait for oncoming cyclists to pass, what would this guy have done in this case?
I got two things from reading that thread, 1) You're an ass (which in this thread is a win) and 2) you're fat

When in a road rage, my bro-in-law throws nickels at other vehicles.

He keeps a ready supply of them on hand in the cup holder in the center console.

I mess with people's mojos on FIFA12. I play the triangle in my own zone for 85 minutes, and then attempt to severely injure the other players for the remaining five. I emerge with a tie, and maintain 99% ball possession in the stats column.

In BF3, I purposely crash helicopters and jets at high speed into my own team, just to give my team a little extra thrill, yaknowwhaddImean?

I also fly the helicopters as high as possible with teammates in it, and then flip it so everyone bails, dies and generally gets their time completely wasted.

By the way, none of these are a-hole moves whatsoever.

You're right. They sound more like d-bag moves. Gold star for you!

I mostly do that so I don't feel obliged to give starbucks and other coffee store employees my change.

I recently heard about a debit machine at a restaurant (the hand held ones) that instead of giving you the "tip $, tip %, tip 15%" instead it auto started at tip 18% yes or no. If I ever see that I decided I'm tipping 12% for good service under the assumption that they just tried to barter with me and I'm starting lower expecting the middle ground to be 15%.

In high school I never succeeded in puddle splashing someone on the side of the road from my car. I'd never do it as an adult so I'm sad I missed my chance.

I can't think of many I do . . .

I actually have no problem with the double dip, it's really not a big deal, people need to stop being such wussies.
