The Glenmore reservoir is flowing over the dam and is expected to reach 1.3 metres between 11 p.m. and 12 a.m.

When that happens, officials say there will be significant flooding downstream.

Waterworks officals say the Saddledome  , Talisman Centre and Macleod Trail are all potentially threatened.

Look above cheung31 the links are somewhere.
It's really fotze's ability with that transduced evaluation statistical monitor that gives you the leading edge though.
Ahh the graph is a beauty!

My neighbourhood (Rideau Park) is a crazy scene. The choppers overhead, tons of cops around and of course hundreds of gawkers just coming to take a look. Seems like every 30 seconds another police cruiser goes done the street...weird stuff. Good thing is the police say right now I just have to be "ready" to leave at anytime. Not being evacuated yet.

Yeah I live in Erlton, and was told to go back home or they'll be "forced to kick the door in to turn shinguard off". All the condos across from me are being evacuated right now.

Hmmm, the lady I rent from lives in a condo in Erlton. She just got back from a vacation too, welcome home!

Well, this settles it for me then. I've been looking to buy and now there's no question, I'm looking in Rocky Ridge/Royal Oak. No flooding for me thanks.

Just out of curiosity, those values you are posting shoe, what would they look like as normal levels of water?

Still haven't been evacuated and I don't think I will be. They are obviously shipping out everyone that is on the river. I've cleared out the basemen of all valuable stuff and informed my cat she may have to take a car ride with me tonight (she wasn't impressed).

The amazing thing is how dumb people are. There is a swinging bridge across the river down here (some may know the bridge I'm referring too) and people were folling around on it earlier. DUMB!

I wish people would just stay away from the affected areas - at least with their cars. The police are trying to get things organized and there's a ton of cars from people just coming to take a peek.

Incidently the house I live in was my grandma's house built in 1931. My mom grew up in the house and by her recollection doesn't recall the river ever getting like this. Her older sister agreed. Pretty interesting to think this is probably a once every 50 years type of thing.
