She is on twitter, and tries to argue with people on it. Are you sure you should feel bad for someone who isn't trying to shy away from the attention?
I kind of feel bad for the girl, I don't really have anything against her, but the whole video is genuinely hilarious. Honestly, her parents/production company deserve all the blame. Not that attacking her personally is right in any way. And good for her for standing up for herself at 13, pretty brave.

I'm not really interested enough to find out, but I suspect her parents are plenty rich already, and this is simply a case of wealthy parents indulging their "precious". Looking at the kids in the video, I would venture a guess that all of their parents are worth at least $10M. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I just don't think making money was a reason for this horror...

I'm saying there's no reason for her to actually be out there confronting the people who apparently hate her so much. She could just sit back and let it ride out, and make in person appearances when requested. I have no problem with her making the music video. 99% of the time these kids are never noticed. Somehow she got noticed, and if I were her I would just let the thing pass and move on.
