I hope the actual game is a little less chaotic.
I know the teaser videos are put together to look over-dramatic, but if the games are actually this intense, I think it's going to be tough to play.

Guess I'd better get Windows 7 ordered... and of course, if I'm going to install a new OS, I might as well buy a SSD to put it on... and since I'll finally have an OS that supports more than 3 gigs of RAM, guess I'll get some more of that too...
This is an expensive game.

Apparently these are the recommended specs for max everything:

I don't know... a 6 core CPU? Really? 580 SLI? Apparently a single 6950 will only get you to medium settings. I can't think of any game that has recommended settings even close to this.
Edit: IGN has a bit: http://pc.ign.com/articles/119/1195696p1.html but it doesn't show max recommendations. I don't understand how consoles keep up with inferior technology and I can barely hold up after I upgraded a month ago. Well, I understand that the console versions are scaled down in almost every way.. but still...

i refuse to believe that my dual GTX 460's won't be able to max out this game. i mean it looks good, but not THAT good
i also want to know what exactly they mean by max everything. what resolution and how many monitors are they using? i could see those specs being needed for 30' monitors or a 3 monitor setup, but not for a standard 1920x1200 or 1680x1050 setup

Well let us know, cause I'll have to decide to try and find a 2nd GTX 460 to SLI, or do an upgrade.

Anyone who's supposed to have early access get the game yet?
One thing says emails are supposed to be sent out, but I haven't got one. Another thing says it's just supposed to show up in Origin client under Free Games, but nothing there either.

Wow, Origin's download servers are FAST, much faster than Steam.

I usually average 1.5mb/s on Steam - what are you getting on Origin? Must be the lower population?
