Yeah, at this point if I were a betting man I'd bet on Rob (though his team has to start winning I see him in a very poor position if he makes it to the merge short on numbers with someone he likely had a direct hand in sending to Redemption coming back.
Short of production manipulation I don't see Russell getting to the end this time. These folk seem wise to his game, he doesn't have an Idol, and he doesn't have numbers (yet). Then again these folk seem a bit starstruck (if I were there Rob and Russell would be the first people I'd want gone) and I didn't forsee him getting far on All-stars either so what do I know.

Who are you guys hoping wins on redemption island between Francescwa and Matt?
Im hoping that Francesca wins there duel because I like her game better. IMO Matt's openness with his faith is a bad Social move in this game, which I see as a mistake. Im hoping Francesca wins so she gets more airtime. She never really made a mistake except which side of the fence she was on during the 1st day. Also if she loses to Matt we wont be able to see a Francesca/Phillip duel.

Ralph being voted out this week would require 1 of 2 things
#1) Ralph not using his immunity idol
#2) Russel to steal the Idol from his belongings.
besides that would double eliminate Rhettzky

I wonder what CBS might try and pull to keep Russel in the game. Things could get a bit boring without him around.

Pretty good episode. I still don't think it's real wise to throw a challenge this early into the game, but I can understand why they'd want to get a threat like Russell out of there.
Redemption Island does throw a little twist into the game.

Russell is pretty good at challenges, wouldn't surprise me if he stuck around for quite a while at redemption island

Decent episode tonight. I think Russell will last long at Redemption Island. Throwing a challenge was a terrible idea and shows that you can't trust your 6 because you think Russell can work his magic in the coming weeks. If you really weren't scared of him/trusted your alliance, win as many as you can until you have to get rid of somebody.
On a side note, I don't see what lying to Russell about who won the Redemption Island challenge is going to do. He's obviously going to figure it out when he gets there and then he has the time until the challenge to get his mind figuring out how he's going to win. The only way I could see it be a good idea would be if Russell was voted off and then immediately went to a challenge against Matt, then at least he would be thrown off for a little bit. Completely useless lie in my books.
