One More Time is a little sappy for my taste

But the other track they dropped is a banger, classic Blink sound

I think they've earned a mulligan on a sappy track, since they've rarely been that real with their lyrics.

Hope we get a lot more of track 2 on the rest of the album.

Sounds like a natural progression from the self titled album which is exactly what every one was hoping for with neighborhoods.

Feel the same with More Than You Know.

Very glad to hear that there’s potentially a dozen songs with that kind of energy on this album.

Cautiously optimistic.

Daft Punk are releasing a "drumless" version of Random Access Memories.

So the new Blink 182 album just leaked and I feel like a child in my car listening to the first run through.

I'll say I've been on the fence with the singles as they've been Bs to me but not A+ like some of their old bangers. But they REALLY saved the good stuff for the rest of the album from what I've taken in so far.

Can honestly say some of the songs are hitting those levels, which is amazing. Part of me can't believe it.

What's even cooler is they're showcasing sounds from their side projects including BCR(!) and experimenting in this LP and a lot of it is really working. It really is like the new Untitled.

If you're waiting for release on Friday, get excited.

Edit: And yes, Anthem p.3 is phenomenal.. I shed a tear of joy.

My Friends and I made this full length album of trancy ambient music.
Avilable on all streaming platforms, but the sports nerds here might like the small town Alberta baseball footage from the 1950s.

2023 sees the pop-punk renaissance continue. New blink stuff is great but I'm also really loving the new Sum41 tune as well. And former blink member Matt Skiba has a new tune out with Alkaline Trio:

Sum41 is calling it a career in 2024. They're putting out one last album and doing a world tour to close out.

I'm going to try and catch them live since I've been really impressed by how tight their recorded shows online have been. They've come a long way and Deryck has improved on his vocals, and really know how to keep the crowd engaged.

I hope Matt Skiba does well post-Blink. AT have some pretty good songs themselves and I like that he does his own thing creatively rather than try to replace Tom and "fit" blink.

Best pop punk music in probably a decade.

What a great day.
