Carolina is a funny trade partner for Markstrom. I see they have the same leading shots on goal for and against but a terrible save %. Similar to what we had with Markstrom last season.
Can he thrive in a low shot volume system ?

I read that the Canes expect Andersen will be back in the next couple weeks.

Oh, and McDavid got two bonus games since the schedule expanded.

And overtime for his entire career.

Silly argument.
Tons of great players have never won the SC.
I mean, as Flames fans we should know this first hand.
But if you want to talk individual trophies? Mcmuffin has won more than a couple of those.
He is a great player, likely top 6 of all-time when all is said and done.

Forgot they had him? Small sample size but .894 save %.
Wonder if it’s hard for goalies to play this style. Not a lot of action and you have to be so dialed in for little work you see that can wind you up a bit.

If McDavid went back in time to the 80s, he'd probably put up 300+ pts. 80s hockey compared to now is a joke.

Yes but he has never won a championship at any level. Didn't win one in junior hockey. Lost the only time he played in the OHL championship.

I dunno
In this love in he’s being compared to Crosby and Gretzky
So
What has he won?
A world junior and a world championship?
A junior league championship?
A professional championship?

But they were also playing with 80's equipment. It would be abso-####ing-lutely hilarious to see mcdavid in full 80's skates, a pair of Cooper-Alls, and the miniscule shoulder pads.
Now, I'm not saying he wouldn't put up gaudy numbers. But 300+? I think not.

And if you gave Gretzky and Lemieux his training and his stick and skates, they would have put up 400+

Gretzky played in the small goalies era
Lemieux played in the clutch and grab era
McDavid plays in the McDavid can do whatever he damn well please era.
So, Lemieux is better than both of those no good.

I believe that is the Progeny of the incorrect Lemieux.
