Just making note that the cut off line in the excell says older
Quote:
Waiver cut off - all players at or above and 24 or older must be in CPHL or be subject to recall waivers
|
We are doing 23 and younger like stated and not as lited on the excel. So someone like Taylor Beck rated 67 and just above the cutoff line but since he's 26 I can keep him down till after FA

Yeah I think I uploaded a corrected spreadsheet but indeed it is indeed 23 and younger.
And yes you are right, a guy like Beck can stay down.

Wasn't sure where to put this, so I'll ask here.
Hypothetically: If Auston Matthews was called up from the ECHL, he would go straight to the CPHL and not the AHL, correct? Is there any need to worry about re-call waivers or would he be safe? I think someone did something similar last year, but just want to double check.

Now that we are through free agency he can be moved up and down at will.

Pretty sure he goes straight to Dallas.
In the off chance I'm wrong - then he would be fine in the cphl. Given his rating though, you could not send him to the ahl, despite his age. Recall waiver doesn't apply to echl signings.

All ECHL signings are placed in AHL.
The GM would need to move the player from AHL to CPHL.

Moving forward, we will be adding a rule that the only picks that may be traded, including conditions, are for the next two drafts. So for instance, right now you can trade picks and conditions related to 2018 and 2019 draft. 2020 is off the table. Once the 2018 draft happens than 2020 picks can be traded. And so on? Questions?
This is designed to protect future GMs from stepping into a situation where they have to deal with the fall out of these types of deals.

Can someone please remind me what we decided to do about those kids with ratings above threshold?

If you are bidding on any UFAs they must be on your CPHL roster.
After that - they can move up and down at will
