They should do what they should do but it's 3 and 4 points...could be 1 and 2 in the next 24 hours

He wasn't activated until he told the media he has been healthy for two weeks and it's a sham. Call a spade a spade here.

I don't think the NHL is actively looking for guys stashed on the IR who aren't, but when they're exposed they'll look into it. It's totally embarrassing that the IR is used like this but until the league polices it, I don't think we'll see much change. All of Treliving's signings look under performing to terrible from this off-season. Bertuzzi and Domi have been meh most nights. Reeves has been useless in the games he's been in, and Klingberg was very bad in his own end when he was playing. Not paying to bolster the back end defensively has been a massive miss by Treliving, and now not having the draft capital to do so makes the future possibilities, bleak for pulling a rabbit out of the hat. Domi and Bertuzzi come off the books this year which is a good and bad thing - good in that some money will free up. Bad in that it'll leave holes in the lineup to fill.

They have a good shot at the 6th overall pick. Probably a better shot at that than making the playoffs

Some folks just don't want to believe the clear abuse of LTIR that teams do. Doesn't matter how many times teams go into the playoffs with payrolls $10+ million over the cap because miraculously that's when all their players were suddenly healthy enough to play again lol

He wasn’t on LTIR

Doesn’t take away from your point that abuse occurs (I agree), but it doesn’t apply in this instance

Your perceptions are on you, I have no interest in defending the Leafs. I am merely pushing back on the people (like you) who think every IR case is a team trying to cheat the system. There is nothing here for the Leafs to cheat - they had room on their roster for Reaves, and they took him off IR when they did - there is nothing nefarious that I can see here. No conspiracies. If you think that means I'm hell bent on defending the Leafs, knock yourself out.

Oh. Reavo suddenly healthy and off IR. Phone records reveal call from Daly to Treliving I'm sure.

There was NO use of LTIR here. Full stop.

What we DO have here, is a few posters that lose their ####, every time a player is injured. Not every situation is a rules violation.

Unusual to hear Kings dressing room with issues. Especially with longstanding characters in there.

I imagine a couple popular guys being moved out for an overpaid and selfish Dubois who’s now playing on the third line hasn’t helped with team chemistry.

They’ve been a mess since they won a cup. Some of the same guys still run that room.

Yeah, Drew had some comments after last night’s loss.

You mean their play or their dressing room dynamic? Agree if it's the former. Sharks vs Kings used to be such a great rivalry. But the latter, i've never heard before. Could be true. Just didn't know.

Yeah Blake probably has a long runway because of his ties with the organization but that move may be the beginning of his countdown to firing. It's been a total disaster and should anyone be surprised that the Jets got instantly better when Dubois and Wheeler left as neither of them will be confused as good teammates. Sometimes I wonder if pro scouts in this league are bad or if GM's kind of zero in on a guy and only hear what they want to hear. Selfish players rarely change their spots.

Fans in LA were booing Blake earlier this week when they announced his name during one of the pre-game ceremonies. Interesting times...

Seems to be a lot of dissent in good teams where selfish players coming in kept being selfish and it creates locker room issues.

Dubois in LA.

Johansen in Colorado

Dubois seems like a locker room nightmare. 3rd team in a row where he just wrecks havoc on the group.
