The coaches of the losing teams in the conference championships coach their respective Pro Bowl teams.

Terrell Owens to Jessica Simpson: Stay away from Tony Romo and Texas Stadium!
http://www.tsn.ca/nfl/news_story/?ID=225538&hubname=
It was Romo's worst game statistically in the NFL. His 2nd worst was when his gf at the time Carrie Underwood attended the game.

Pro bowl selections are ridiculous.
Dallas has ELEVEN pro bowlers? Thats half a starting football team. Of fourty guys selected...more than 1 out of four were from the same team, youd think they would be running away with the conference in that case.
The Dallas love-in is back and more putrid than ever.
brutal.

Congrats to the 5 Colts named to the team! Especially to Bob Sanders. The guy is an absolute monster on the defensive end. Nice to see Reggie Wayne get rewarded as well. He's been great since Harrison has been out practically all year with his knee injury.

Ya but most if not all of those Dallas guys deserve to be there. Not sure who you would take off the team maybe one of Newman or Hamlin and maybe Barber. But the other guys all deserve and Dallas is clearly the class of the NFC. GB has a nice record but is not close to as good as Dallas is.

To me it's all the seahawks that blow me away...they are really not that good this year..but neither is much of the NFC.
Also, that T.O. story...is he partially kidding? it's hard to tell his tone from the article.

While I think parcells is a great coach, isn't this kind of a slap to cameron.
it's not his fault the dolphins are terrible, he didn't recruit the players they have!
I'm not a big dolphins fan so maybe Ktown can enlighten me, but really, does Cam Cameron deserve to be fired?
My bad, after reading the article, it appears as though this might be a front office job...if so, good on the dolphins.

I think even if it is a front office job that Cameron and Mueller would be gone once Parcells took over and replaced with "Parcells guys."
I am sure that Ktown can speak to this better but from what I have seen and heard Cameron hasn't exactly done a stellar job there. The Ginn, Jr. pick was an awful decision and seems to be at least partly his choice. Going into the season with Green as the starter and Lemon and Beck as the back-ups was also a horrible idea. From my view the way Cameron has handled himself in the media and portrayed the team and his view of it since the moment he got there has been really terrible. 1-13 might not be his fault 100% but he certainly hasn't done much to get them to a better record this year.

Even just look at what Atlanta has gone through this year and they still have 3 wins

Does he deserve to be fired? I'd say yes and I'll tell you why.
He has made terrible coaching mistakes in games, he doesn't take input from his veteran players and he doesn't move around his playmakers enough, IE JASON TAYLOR. Under Saban the defensive game plan was schemed around Taylor, hence why the D was so much better. Him and Mueller both passed on Brady Quinn at #9 for Ted Ginn Jr., when everyone knew we needed a QB. Ginn has done nothing this year. He drafted Beck who is allready 27, he doesn't have much time to learn, the jury is still out on him, but he showed nothing in the 4 games played. I hope he fires Mueller along with Cameron, they botched the draft where they had a chance at a qb. Now what do they do with the #1 pick. There is no major talent in this draft.
Cameron brought in Green for a draft pick, very dumb move. Everyone kne whe was one play away from being scrambled eggs with his concussion history.
Cameron and Mueller brought in Porter for huge amounts of money and they have no idea how to use him. Porter is a good defensive player in the right scheme, Miami's scheme does not suit him.
With all this being said I honestly do believe Cam could save his job possibly with a win against NE this week-end.
The team is in rebuilding mode, and will have some major decisions this offseason, the good news for Parcells that there is no where to go but up for the fins. I honestly hope they can't be worse than this year.

If you say so.
I think I remember a game in Dallas that saw a 10 point difference. I guess that can be construed as "not close to as good as". The stats say the same thing. Dallas averages 2 more yards per game and gives up 10 less yards per game. Dallas has scored 34 more points but given up 42 more.
Sorry, but the Cowboys as good as they have been at times this year are not miles ahead of everyone in the NFC. The love-in with the Cowboys is nothing new among media types, some of it is deserved and some of it is so far over the line it's laughable. Again though, its nothing new for "Americas" team to be crowned kings long before they have a reason to be.

I am interested to see how this Sunday goes after TO going after Romo's woman. This would be a GREAT time for TO to be TO and start big drama before the playoffs.
Personally I don't care who comes out of the NFC because the Pats will destroy them anyways however I would rather see old man Farve give it one more shot for a ring because he is running out of time while Romo is just getting started.

How has the Cowboys' schedule compared with the Packers' schedule?

Well the NFC East probably rates as being a deeper division top to bottom than the NFC North does. But the NFC North teams did play the NFC East this year and I think the results are pretty even. Minnesota and Green Bay have generally done well vs the teams from the East and the East teams have clobbered the Bears and Lions. The Packers got to tee off on the AFC West which was a bad division this year but they did win all 4 of those games including a win over San Diego who is a decent team. The Cowboys drew the AFC East which has the Pats who beat everyone, the Bills who I'll say are an average team and two other bad teams. Other than they both have played St.Louis, and Dallas plays Carolina this weekend. They've played about as similar a schedule as two teams from different divisions can.
