Can you please keep the political stuff out of this thread? What type of hats players are wearing or what political party players align with isn't what this thread is for as it's not a crime to support a political party or presidential candidate. There's plenty of threads in the off topic forum if you want to discuss US politics.

Should we make a separate thread about Watson being a rapist? It’s the same for the Bosas being racist and spreading that message on SNF.
Maybe they shouldn’t be promoting that crap and people won’t talk about it.

Yes please do that in the off topic forum if you want to keep discussing this stuff. Everyone knows that Watson isn't a good guy but he's injured and out of the spotlight for the rest of the year. Most of us just want to talk about the games and talk about the sport not the politics. The US is a democracy and it's not illegal to support a political party or presidential candidate. You seem to have forgotten that.

Sure thing Paulie, that it made you upset has been noted.
Anyhow the Broncos have two major tests coming up in Baltimore and KC. not sure how much time can be spent in season on Bo’s footwork but after yesterday you have to think the Ravens come out looking for blood. Could be a tough week in Broncoland because Baltimore is embarrassed

They have a great defense and have played a very easy schedule. And when you have GOAT Nix, the possibilities are endless.

That’s right. Leads all rookie QBs with 12 total tuddies and that’s with no skill players around him and the tap footwork of Savion Glover. I also like how his fastball is like a knuckleball and his throwing form reminds me of Tebow. Once he hits his mid 30s next year all his veteran experience is going to serve Denver well

The Broncos defence seems like it could be pretty legitimate, but they've had the good fortune of hitting a lot of lesser light teams and catching them at the right time too. Baltimore should be a bit salty after having had Jameis steal one from them. The Denver defence vs Ravens offence is an intriguing matchup. Will be a case of can Nix luck keep up vs an inconsistent Ravens defence.

I see the talk is the Jets being a colossal failure.
THey have some really good skill players, but the QB is 40 coming off an Achilles tear and they have a patchwork offensive line.
At best this was going to be a 9-10 win team. Even the defence looks like it's in shambles.

They let a nutbar conspiracy theorist that dabbles in 9/11, anti-vaccines, Sandy Hook, inner earth, the moon landing, reptile people, etc. bring in his old glory day receiver buddies and then run the coach out of town. Isn't he basically the coach, OC, DC and probably the GM now? Their on field product looks good on them. He'll give up and leave them in shambles when he tears his other achilles in week 17 and starts up a conspiracy podcasting grifting gig.

I realize the difference right now is purely tiebreakers, but for Davante to go from the Raiders and end up lower than them (currently) in the standings is pretty hilarious. The mess the Jets are going to be left to clean up when Rodgers retires after the season will be ugly.

I don’t think it’s that big of a mess if they hire a decent coach likely with an offensive background. Solid talent on both sides of the ball and Rodgers out of the building will be addition by subtraction. The problem of course will be the void at the QB position. It will be interesting to see how they address that position if Rodgers retires.

The Jets have talent on offence. Wilson and Adams are probably one of the best 1-2 duos in the NFL.
Not sure why certain people thought it was funny saying Rodgers as weapons at his disposal. Breece Hall is a really good back who can run and catch. Lazard is an underrated receiver.

What decent coach wants to go to the Jets? We all know Woody is top five worst owners in sports. And because they did one of those voided years contracts with Rodgers to reduce his current cap hit, they're on the hook for $49 million in dead cap if he retires, in addition to other cap issues.

The Jets pulled a Flames. Collected a bunch of talent, and went bargain bin shopping for coaches.

Likely cheap, but a lot of these teams are looking for the next Sean McVay. 1 good season as a coordinator and they are a hot prospect.
Look at the disaster that was Brandon Staley. Or Hackett who didn't even call plays.
2 games in and Gary Kubiak was being talked about as the next one. Lucky for any team that was starting to develop a list the Saints fizzled quickly.
