Borjan put a better ball into the box than most of the team!

Only 4 minutes added, and doesn't even give the full 4 minutes. Annoying.

We were half a ball away from tying this. Ugh. Just our luck.

Well, that was a World Cup. Good to get the experience, but really need to bridge the massive gap in quality before 2026.

See everyone in March for Nations League, right?

Belgium did everything but score in the last 10
Minutes.

At least 3 extremely good chances.

Well I hate Morocco now, their fans were the most obnoxious group I've ever had to listen to, made me want to mute the tv. I get whistling late but for 90 minutes is just next level irritating.

Also wtf, just 4 minutes of injury time after the whole tournament gets 5 plus and morocco was diving around and time wasting since about the 30th minute?

Tough tournament... we were a borjan mistake and a davies missed pen away from 2 points which we deserved - 2 very basic execution fails. Hard not to feel disappointed at how it played out.

Belgium were supposed to walk through this group, but they were as bad as we were.

Forwards fine...was always the strength. David disappointing.
Defenders, much better IMO than I thought. Played guts out all tourney.
Middle of midfield atrocious outside of Estaquio and where we lost all games.

Honestly this Canada team should be proud. They beat both Belgium and Morocco in XG in those games but really didn’t get any luck.

Deserved the win against Belgium. (Canada 2.83 xG - 0.86 Belgium)
Croatia showed their class and Herdman got a bit of a tactical lesson in that game IMO. (Canada 0.51 - Croatia 3.16)
Probably deserved a better fate today as I don’t like either goal Borjan allowed. (XG Can 1.1 - Morocco (0.47)

Honestly I feel like it could easily be Canada instead of Morocco if that first game goes differently, but those are the margins in a short tournament. Guys like David, Davies, Kone, etc and Herdman need to take these learnings into 2026.

The team should be proud to make it to the World Cup. Still have a few steps to take before 2026. Hopefully more top quality youngsters come in (especially for the back end)

Now Germany, please make it a good day

Stoppage time and everything surrounding it (how it's calculated, how long they actually play) is a crock of ####. It's really up to the ref to decide how long he wants to let them play, there is no set standard. Wish they would just stop the clock if there is an actual injury or when the ball goes out of play. They do it in every other sport.

What a ride this has been. Thank you to everyone involved with the last couple years indeed. This has been one of the highlights of my life from a sporting perspective to follow the ride these guys took us on. What a privilege it has been to support those men. No need to hang their heads whatsoever, we move forward and we continue to build on the foundation this group has created.
