Well that was a pretty great match between United and Everton. Had pretty much everything and a dramatic finish.

So with Leicester cruising today it becomes a must win match for Spurs tomorrow. A loss or draw means Leicester just need to win one of their final three to clinch the title.

I've read that Leicester have only made 25 changes to their starting line-up all season. That's insane! Also shows that they've had ridiculous luck with injuries.

Crystal Palace is the second cup finalist. United easily dominated them for 90 minutes last week, hopefully the final will be more of the same. Either way, happy it's Palace - rather deal with Pardiola than Watford and their long balls.

Shows how much that the FA cup has been devalued to me (and a lot others) when I am fearing that United winning it could lead to van Gaal keeping his job. All these comparisons about but .. but ... it saved Fergies's United career aren't entirely accurate. Then, it was a trophy of significance, something that was competed for and an event in the calendar.

4th place in the league now > FA cup.

4th place in the league now > FA cup.
Its basically the consolation prize.

oh, absolutely. And thanks to Arsenals 0-0 at Sunderland today, there's even a chance, given that Arsenal and City face each other on day 37.

never cared too much about the FA Cup, but those games at Wembley are pretty cool. Also don't think a cup win will save van Gaal, especially if the miss top 4. If anything, this will be an opportunity to somehow split amicably in the summer. He'll still have to leave because he didn't fulfill the expectations at all, but at least he'll be able to walk out with his head held high.

Yeah, but call me old but I remember when it was a prestigious trophy and one of significance that was on the list of things to do at the start of the season and where teams would put out their strongest sides. The final used to be THE event of the season and on that all players aspired for.

Now, for the teams chasing Europe and fighting relegation it's just another fixture congestion and a small step above the League cup.

And all started with the FA degrading it years back when they sent United to Brazil preventing them from defending the trophy.

I think United have a real chance for 4th, they would have to win out but its not impossible

Leicester
@Norwich
@WHam
Bournemouth

and hope that City/Arsenal in 2 weeks has a winner and doesnt end in a draw

not inconceivable

And I think Chelsea will make sure they get that win on the last day if it comes down to it. They'll play hard against Spurs and basically do everything they can to let Leicester take the title.

I think United could make it happen, but Everton looks terrible. Like I say though, Chelsea will roll over for Leicester on the last day if they can hand them the title. Eden Hazard was in the media saying yesterday how they were hoping for the Foxes to win.

ya but thats the same as "would you rather play for (insert rival) or retire"

I actually think Chelsea give their all regardless with it being JT's last game for the club

Oh look an English footballer (and key to the National Team set up) who makes stupid decisions at the worst possible times for his team - never seen that before.

Lloris going to take some flack for that. Caught in no mans land.

And Alli should be gone.
