I don't think it's being overdramatic. They've shown nothing to indicate they've got what it takes to get back in this. It's more likely they slide back further than stay close.

they are not good enough and won't be good enough to compete in the future the division is going to be a lot harder next season. They had a window with an off year for the big boys in their division and its over.

this is why I was so frustrated in the off season and at the deadline, saw it coming a mile away

Well.... that error pretty much killed us. Frustrating this team can be sometimes.

When did wearing your hat crooked become a thing for pitchers?

Well the Jays are crapping the bed good in this series.

Also I forgot what a dbag rodney is. The sideways hat and the pose he strikes after the save, it's like something I'd expect to see a 9 year old do after a little league game.

F this team and their lack of doing anything at the deadline. And where is that waiver wire "help" ?

Going to the game again tomorrow and expecting to watch RA get shelled.

The Jays need to get rid of Rasmus. He's absolutely pitiful at the plate, and he's an absolute strikeout machine... His defence can be replaced by Gose in my opinion.

Their pitching isn't going to cut it when you look at some of the top contenders. Not even close!

They need to find a way to re-sign Melky because he's one of maybe two or three guys that are consistent at the plate. If they can get a good young pitcher and a half decent roster player, I'd pull the trigger on trading Bautista as well... Just my opinion of course!

i think we all saw it, this isn't a very good team. Contenders have an ace, maybe 2 or 3.. Jays have none.

Jays haven't solved the 2B problem in years. Injuries just make it worse.
Rasmus is a joke. Francisco is what he is.. a decent hitter for a month but can't do it over 162 games.

That amazing May kept the Jays in the race longer than they really were. It's now evaporated.

The Blue Jays pretty much need to go something like 28-13 to finish the year to get one of the Wildcard spots. Division is obviously gone but Wildcard is absolutely still in play. 40 games is still 25% of the entire season, lots of time left.

Lots of time sure. But there has been zero evidence that this team is just a crP team that can luck its way into a streak. 11 in a row last year, a good month this year but if you take those two anomalies out you have a very very bad baseball team.

They'll go on another winning streak but then blow it again. This season has been a roller coaster ride, but I seriously wanted to see some playoff baseball from these Jays.

Flailing against Felix is one thing, but getting two hits in six innings against a guy with an 83 mph fastball is absolutely hopeless.
