Nothing like commentators speculating if Milos is dating Heidi Klum or not.

They are both alternating between great and awful play. Milos has been marginally more consistent thus far.

Anyone know how they are doing these amazing continuous camera shots? Just saw a shot that went from ground level in one court, moved to the other court, followed Milos, then zoomed way up to show the whole court about 30 ft up.

it's a Skycam:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skycam

they can quickly and silently cover the entire volume of a stadium. I think they've been popular in football for a while, and most major tennis events have them now too. wonder how one of them would work for hockey coverage.

regarding Genie being tired, I can't see how she could be physically worn down given how she barely picked up a racquet since Wimbledon, plus they get days off in NY, so 3 setters shouldn't be such a huge deal. she mentioned that this heat fainting thing's happened before, so it could be a conditioning issue. I think if she's worn down in any way it's definitely mental, because of all the crazy media exposure and expectation that she'll make at least another semi.

Ya that was a great set. It felt like he was largely outplayed but still came up with the big points when needed.

Any reason why that the majority of fans seem to be cheering for Nishikori?

Reminds me of the big Chang-Lendl match. Big emotionless server against quick but injured crafty Asian. Will we see an underhand serve too?

Doesn't seem like it to me at all.

They were cheering louder for him also when the match was square in the 3rd.

"Dude' common man" to the female judge. Haha. That was great how the announcer made note of that.

Good fight from Milos when he clearly was struggling with the serve, but credit to Nishikori for making Milos beat him in rallies, something he clearly still needs a lot of work on. If Nishikori didn't gift that first set with several horrible service games it might have been straight sets, 19 break points against has to be close to a career high for Milos. He and Genie both with some more work to do to win a major.
