It's funny how style works. I was wearing my cowboy boots all the time back east in the early 80s, and it took 20 years before everyone in Toronto was wearing them.

Cowboy boots and shorts? Gotta be short shorts (Daisy dukes). Cowboy boots and Cargo shorts are just stupid.

Man, did tattoos ever jump the shark in the last decade. Every person, same idea, same areas of the body, slightly different designs. And you should see what people pay now a days for those things. It's crazy.

First fashion, now tattoos.

We’re getting real close to a non-ironic mention of the detrimental financial implications of avocado toast here.

What do you guys think about music today?

Stop, don’t tell me.

I actually really like tattoos overall, despite not having any, but wow, most are just terrible

Sure, but most people do F###, I don't know why reminding them of that is a big deal.

Well I thought about changing the 'You' to 'Trudeau' but the sheer anatomical Real Estate for that was rather prohibitive. I'm completely kidding. I have no tattoos.

The modern style, small tattoos all over can look really ugly and messy fast but I've seen some look fantastic. Depends on the person too. Though some sleeves look absolutely silly and I've worked with a few guys who in their 50s now who it looks ridiculous on.. but that's tattoos.

re; music today is fantastic. Pop music was genuinely terrible for 30 years since the 80s but acts like Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Billie Eiliish are fun and catchy. And that Chappell Roan just kicks ass.

Also Adrienne Lenker, lead singer of Big Thief, is possibly the best singer/song writer of the last twenty years, a true once in a life time talent.

Counter point, it is that expensive to get a large well done tattoo.

I’m not convinced. People who are covered in tattoos drop a lot of money, I’d imagine.

Well it’s not exactly an area you skimp on though. First, it’s a luxury as opposed to a need, so you have that factor. But then people aren’t really price shopping when it comes to a permanent piece of body art.

Yes per hour isn’t that expensive that I would call it crazy.

Depends what you get. Obviously if your body is covered in it, it will get expensive.

Very few tattoo artists are operating sub $200/hr. I’m not gonna dox myself too hard here but one of my tattoos has won multiple awards and years later I continue to show it for the artist. My one arm (every inch of it and my hand) was about $8000

For something inner city that's hard to find.
I went there with my daughter last night and we spent about half an hour watching the beaver go about his business. It was great.
Took the kids there last winter and saw a coyote chase down a couple geese on the frozen river. Sadly, unsuccessfully.

That’s not really expensive to me. Especially when someone is creating something permanent in your body. You’re not discount shopping for a tattoo.
