Unbelievable. I thought the 5-1 defeat against a relegated Newcastle was embarrassing before this.

great result for West Ham though ... looks like they'll be able to pull through.

16. Leeds 29
17. Leicester 28
18. Everton 28
19. Nottingham 27
20. Southampton 24

with all of them having 6 games to go ... will be an interesting race to the bottom.

Newcastle are looking pretty good for CL now, only Brighton and Arsenal left in the run in that are tough, and both of those are at home. Otherwise it's relegation fodder.

I half expected them to fire Stellini at half time.

if this does go to penalties, Brighton can already start planning for the final.

have to feel for Solly March a bit there. But for United to advance, one had to sky it because De Gea wouldn't save one in a million years.

What a complete circus. United must be licking their chops for Thursday! Could we sack two managers in a week? We've got to be the only club that has sacked an interim manager?

I was thinking about this earlier and at least I couldn't think of an example where that has happened. Wild stuff for sure.

but while we're on the topic of circuses: looks like Chelsea are appointing Poch.

I would guess that things are about to get incredibly toxic for Daniel Levy and ENIC. I'm not 100% sure that I'm "Poch In", but given the shambles we're in and Chelsea on the verge of appointing him, it's going to be ugly.

There was a twitter post for the U21's today and literally every reply was the same poster for "Levy out". I know...he's an owner, and there's not much you can actually do, but that situation is going to be virtually untenable. Maybe if he can get Nagelsmann, keep Kane and find a DoF things would come around. But frankly, why would any of those three want to be here?

Oh man I am sorry for Spurs fans, nothing against that club but holy hilarious sacking an interim Manager... you don't need to sack him, just hire somebody!

That Leeds Leicester game is gonna be massive tomorrow. Leicester getting relegated was hard to see with all their talent and they are finally coming on but whoever loses that one is going to be in deeep trouble with 5 games left.

Predictions on the drop anyone?

Southampton finally showed signs of life against Arsenal and have a winnable game at home to the Cherries coming up that could turn the momentum around for them. Leeds schedule is brutal the last 4. Everton are brutal period, they just look hopeless out there lately. Forest survival could hinge on the game they have head to head with Southampton.

My dart throw is Everton, Leeds, Forest. But if Leeds beat Leicester I'd probably replace them with Southampton.
I'm actually as interested in the relegation battle as the one at the top it's so close!

Southampton are going down for sure, no doubt about it. Nottingham Forest are almost certain to go down as well.

Everton, Leeds, and Leicester are the only other three teams in any danger. Leeds are my pick, they're absolutely terrible and don't deserve to stay up. Everton aren't much better and the only thing that might save them is how bad Leeds are.

The Championship race for the final two playoff spots is pretty crazy too, eight teams fighting for two spots.

Dude...you should have sold Kane when you had the chance and if you get the chance again....SELL.

Spurs are a very business-like sports club and they go through cycles of competition. Get ready for the downward cycle and prep for it.

Apparently they're negotiating on a new deal for Kane and we'll see what happens. He's got to want out at this point, but I guess it's hard to know. I could see him being swayed if Nagelsmann comes in and maybe DoF who is good?

Ryan Mason says he wants to be the permanent manager if he does well for the coming matches. I'm torn...at some point you have to give young guys a shot, but at the same time there need to be a lot of changes and I'm not sure that he's the guy to do that.

If I'm Kane I dont want to get out of Spurs...the time for getting out has passed, now is the time to get paid, and nobody is paying him more than Spurs.

If you're Spurs however you want to get rid of this guy because you're going to be paying Lambo money for a broken-down Jalopy.

Well if there's one thing Man City have figured out of late it's that hoofing it up to Haaland is a pretty good play. Great finish by De Brunye as well.
