Honestly Nadal should skip the entire clay season and focus on winning Wimbledon. A 14th French Open title would be nice but a 3rd Wimbledon title would be extraordinary. Plus would give Alcaraz a chance to win a slam.

worked for Roger, but I don't think he'd pass up the opportunity to pad his lead with another dirt trophy. there's just too many landmines at SW19 (i.e. anyone who's having a ridiculous day painting lines) even if he specifically prepared for it.

Well, Rebecca was up a break in set 2 at 2-0 and then dropped six straight games. Looking a little tired out there (it is a hot and humid day) and she did have to come through qualifying. 3rd set required to decide a winner.
That was a high quality match, unfortunately Leylah lost 6-4 7-6 to Muchova. It easily could have gone to a 3rd set, but the Czech won the big points and that was the difference today.
