Honestly Nadal should skip the entire clay season and focus on winning Wimbledon. A 14th French Open title would be nice but a 3rd Wimbledon title would be extraordinary. Plus would give Alcaraz a chance to win a slam.

worked for Roger, but I don't think he'd pass up the opportunity to pad his lead with another dirt trophy. there's just too many landmines at SW19 (i.e. anyone who's having a ridiculous day painting lines) even if he specifically prepared for it.
Ashleigh Barty has announced her retirement from tennis at the age of 25. She's currently been #1 for 112 weeks and won the Australian Open in January.
I mentioned earlier that Felix would likely play Kecmanovic for his first match in Miami, but it could be Jack Sock as he takes on the Serb on Thursday with the winner to play Felix in round 2.
Naomi Osaka is back playing in Miami and just won her opening round match in straight sets and gets Kerber next. Leylah is in this section of the draw.
Well, Rebecca was up a break in set 2 at 2-0 and then dropped six straight games. Looking a little tired out there (it is a hot and humid day) and she did have to come through qualifying. 3rd set required to decide a winner.
That was a high quality match, unfortunately Leylah lost 6-4 7-6 to Muchova. It easily could have gone to a 3rd set, but the Czech won the big points and that was the difference today.
