There are consequences, they're called loses.
We're in the playoff hunt and we can't afford to sit our best players because of mental lapses on the bases. In a 162 game season it's a little different and you can do something, but not right now.

The frustrating part is that the base running mistakes are so clearly the wrong decisions. It's not like they are getting thrown out by millimeters, we are talking feet.

Nah I don't buy this and I completely disagree that sitting Vlad for a game would be that detrimental.
They clearly don't care about losses then because it's been weeks and weeks of this ####.

I would have rathered see Espinal stay in the game and hit there, heck I would have rather seen Fisher than Shaw.
Smoak was DFA'd earlier today, can we just pick him up and DFA Shaw or Fisher?
