So glad she sent the Shriekstress packing. And yes, that was some impressive tennis from Caroline.

What a great match, very happy to see Caroline advance. Bath, massage and some chocolate....."because I think I deserve it!"

There are saying your ticket is still good for the grounds tonight just not on Ashe. There are still lots of mens matches they need to move around.

play has resumed

No surprise, Granollers lost his serve while serving for the set.

Federer certainly has taken this match back. Yikes.

Who else here desperately wants Federer to win another grand slam!?

I've gotten to the point of cheering for Federer, Nadal and Djokovic to lose every time out. Frankly, I am just bored with all three.

I still like Feds, but if he's playing a young guy trying to break through (like Dimitrov, Nishikori, or Milos), I'm rooting for the young guy.

We may have a new Swiss Miss, as Bencic moves on to the quarter-finals (the original Swiss Miss Hingis cheering her on from the stands).

The bottom half of the women's draw has been decimated

Bencic (SUI)
Peng (CHN)

[10]Wozniacki (DEN)
[13]Errani (ITA)

One of these 4 women will make the US Open final!

I was thinking of going back but we were completely drenched. Plus we were already back at the hotel and we didn't want to put up with the freaks on the number 7 train again.
