yeah i dont get it either Dis...only when its a reception does that stupid ass rule come into effect, if he had been running after the catch and done that, its a TD.

Cause its technically the right call.
On a reception you have to maintain control right through to the ground, which he did not...regardless of where it occurs. Whereas, as i mentioned, you can fumble the ball away into the endzone if you carry it there, as long as you cross the plain first.
Its the most assinine rule in football.
