With Murray out, seems like everyone is pushing for a WTF spot..Wawrinka, Gasquet, Raonic are all picking up some valuable points..Tsonga does not seem to be safe..still a couple of M1000s and couple of 500s to play..even Federer could lose out if he somehow stinks it up while two of the above three win the big titles..

Tsonga isn't safe, but this is where blowing that 4th round match against Gasquet at the US Open is really hurting Raonic. He pretty much needs a 1000 final plus strong showings in other tournaments to have a chance at the top eight. Particularly since he has to make the finals in Tokyo next week just to defend what he has.

You don't have to defend any points to get into the WTF.

It's not the rankings, it's simply the top 8 'point-getters' of 2013. (actually from nov 2012 to nov 2013)

I don't think it was.

At least Berdych has a sense of humour

As we were weatching Milos, an amazing run in Kuala Lumpur

Joao Sousa becomes the first ever Portuguese player to win an ATP title. And on hardcourt which is shocking.

He beat Harrison, Cuevas, FERRER, Melzer and Benneteau

Milos has a pretty easy draw in Tokyo.

http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2013/329/mds.pdf

Soeda, Chardy, Anderson, Tsonga?

Nishikori, the man who beat Milos in last year's final, is on the other side.

-----

Meanwhile in Beijing, Pospisil draws FERRER first round. That is winnable on a fast service and Ferrer is playing like crap. He just lost to Joao Sousa!

what's worse was the t-shirt he wore during the trophy presentation, which was an H&M shirt with his own signature on it. that's almost as bad as Radek Stepanek and his "RS" brand racquet.

Yikes. I checked out all the photos from today and just saw that. Unless you're RF, ND, or RN....

Pospisil loses to Ferrer in a 3rd set tiebreak.
He has now lost 9 consecutive tiebreaks. Inexcusable for someone with a big serve.

Vasek has all the tools to be a top 10 player, the problem right now is in his head.
