Yup, the playoff streak ends at 18 seasons. It was an amazing run, and everyone involved should hold their heads high knowing they've done something few organizations have ever done. It was a heck of a ride. A new streak starts next year!

He was the runner-up in Edmonton when they hired Jones this last time. I'd have no problem seeing what he can do. I wonder if Nik Lewis could be a good offensive coordinator.

Killiam is a classic CFL case of just hang around long enough on one team and youll eventually become a coach in some regard, and maybe move your way up depending on how well you do and then attrition may help your progression too.
Elks can have him.

Thought the same of Rick Campbell when he was given a job by Daddy with the Esks long ago. Took him a long time to move up the ladder.

Dunigan was an embarrassment tonight, his edmonton love made me think i was back watching NHL playoffs. he needs to retire, he is awful. on a different note, this season might turn out to rival some of the Feterick years.

In general, it seems TSN and the CFL are sympathetic to the Elks. Likely because of the new ownership and the league wanting to paint that in a positive light. And Edmonton media and their inferiority complex actively campaign national media to be on their side (see, Sportsnet and the Oilers, that doesn't just happen because of McDavid, it's years of pandering to cuddle up with the network and it's personalities to achieve rarely negative coverage).

Look at the headlines "Surging Elks out of the basement" etc. Nevermind Suitor continuing to have a crush on Tre Ford, even when he hasn't played, he still talked about him numerous times labour day.

Well, I think we'll see Jake back after that. 5 INTs, and how many were brutally underthrown? Wow.

I feel like DD is somewhere going "see? see?!"

Gotta think this is DD's last year in Calgary. It really should be, anyway. This team needs a complete reboot, what a mess.
