The fix is in. Obviously the last refs weren’t going along with the plan so the league had to step in. If the officials show an obvious bias in favour of the Oilers, I hope some investigative journalist start digging into it and can expose them.

I don't know if a new crew is going to favor the Oilers all that much. The referee fraternity is even smaller than the player's. They all know each other and talk frequently I assume. When one is made to look a fool at the hand of a team or coach, they likely take it personally, at least I know I would. They'll be professional but I don't see the Oilers getting more favorable calls because of this change. Could have the opposite effect.

This is so embarrassing, the Oilers are always the victim. Playoffs are about small margins and winning in the face of adversity. It’s game 4 and they are already conjuring up this ridiculous narrative because team lotteryballs struggles to score 5 on 5.

It would be so delicious to see the Oilers go down 3-1. As long as LA keeps playing a strong defensive game and doesn’t get sucked into playing Oilers-style river hockey, I think they’ve got this. They definitely have the depth and the goaltending to win this series, especially if they can get Fiala back in.
