He’s had a brutal tournament unfortunately. His positioning has been all over the place. Was hoping he’d use it as a spring board but looks like he needs more time in MLS for Montreal before he takes the jump

^^Yep. He can be a beast in tackles etc., so looks great on those occasions, but he's prone to being beat over the top once a game. As a CB, you can't afford mistakes. Part of the gig. One mistake and it's in the back of your net.
The pre tournament game vs Japan...he gets beat. This 2nd goal...beat. And I believe there was at least one other that was on him in the Belgium or Croatia game. Can't remember.
Can't make those mistakes as a CB.

You could see the whole team sag after borjan gave up that timbits goal.
Our backline is poor for sure. The issue with Miller is there is nobody else to play. Cb is by far the weakest area of the program and I don't even see any quality coming. I think its likely to be an issue in 2026 as well.
Thx for the service borjan love the guy but hopefully st. Clair or crepeau takes the reigns after today in net for our program.

I struggle to see that Vitoria is one of the top 2 CBs in the entire country...hard to fathom.
Four years is a long time though. I'm sure we'll have better options by 2026.

Yeah I don’t want to beat on the guy, he’s a phenomenal athlete and seems like a great person.
Hopefully some of these kids watching this tournament will grow into 6’5” beasts we can use at CB

Johnston has been really poor this tournament too. If I were Celtic, I'd be having 2nd thoughts tbh. I think he can be a good player, but I don't think he's at that level yet.

He hasn’t looked great, but to be fair to him he has started two of the three games out of his usual position.
