You just don’t understand, the Boring Company was about proof of concept. That you could have a cheap, underground, automated high capacity transit system.

The fact it wasn’t cheap, automated, only had one underground station, and wasn’t high capacity and was prone to traffic jams, not to mention automated underground high capacity transit has existed for over half a century already, is beside the point. The man is a genius for what he was able to do to revolutionize transit!
