To a conservative.... not others who belong to other races or religions and face this stuff day to day, but just conservatives.

Anybody ever been somebodies boss?

If your canning an existing employee because they worked for Trump 3 years ago, then you've been looking for an excuse to dump the sap for a while. Once you've taken the time to start training someone if they are getting the work done the last thing you want is to start training someone else. This guy is obviously a #### employee who's boss thought jumping on the bandwagon was a great opportunity to get rid of him.

This claim would be a lot more credible if he were saying he can't find a job because of the association with trump.

After watching the fuss over the magnetometers, while recognizing that we are not perfect in Canada, can I just say how grateful I am that some of our biggest dustups in the HoC have been things like Fartgate or BC Reform MP Darrel Stinson , back in '97, calling Ontario Liberal MP John Cannis an SOB after Cannis heckled him with "racist", and storming over to the Lib side, ready to throw hands?

The Stinson dustup is the one that amuses me most, as the Speaker just very calmly stands there, and almost lazily says, in a monotonous tone, "Order. Order." Fartgate (not my name for it) is a very close second. Lard tunderin' Jesus.

I constantly have to warn my foster kids that everything they post on social media is going to be looked at by a prospective employer/college etc and posting crap about thug life and getting #### faced is going to screw you over when you move on from your life of drugs and crime and try to put a straight life together, in their defense they are badly educated teenagers struggling with severe drug and mental health issues.

This muppet is college educated and has every benefit that being white and upper middle class in America can offer, he should have worked out that he wasnt always going to be looking for work in the racist white power gang world, sorry I meant the GOP and his years of posting right wing tweets and posts are no better than having an arayan nation tattoo in the world he now wants to move into, my kids at least have the moral integrity to admit 'man I was such a dumbass when I was posting that rubbish' I have never heard one of them whine about how the world is unfair to them even though the world has been kicking them in the teeth since they were born.

How could you forget elbowgate? When the Prime Minister dragged a conservative MP across Parliament and laid a beatdown on an NDP MP with his elbow along the way. The MP then held a press conference in a full body cast describing the horrors she suffered in the moment and the resulting aftermath.

One of the most violent moments in our Parliament's history. I still can't believe we are their contemporaries.

WASHINGTON — FBI intelligence analysts gathered information about possible violence involving the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6., but the FBI never distributed a formal intelligence bulletin, in part because of concerns that doing so might have run afoul of free speech protections, a current and two former senior FBI officials familiar with the matter told NBC News.

While the FBI did share some threat intelligence with law enforcement agencies, the lack of a comprehensive Joint Intelligence Bulletin compiled by the FBI's Intelligence Branch — which would have made assessments about possible threats and would have been shared with relevant law enforcement agencies — left the Capitol Police and other agencies lacking the full picture of what the FBI had learned from human sources and social media postings about what extremists were saying about plans to assault the Capitol.

While threatening violence isn't protected speech under the First Amendment, the line between protected speech and threats can be hard to discern. Because Al Qaeda and ISIS are designated terrorist organizations under the law, the FBI feels more free to disseminate intelligence about Americans linked to them in any way. There are no designations for domestic terrorist groups.

A senior FBI official confirmed that the FBI did have indications that extremists were calling for violent action at the Capitol on Jan. 6 but felt constrained from sharing some of the information because of First Amendment concerns.

The scary part though is that they are down because they are being abandoned by Trumpists and the other hard righters for more election fraud friendly networks like Newsmax and OAN.

An anti-government website is using cloud servers located in Montreal to help organize a series of armed protests across the United States this weekend, contributing to fears the country could see more violence around the presidential inauguration.

The website, Tree of Liberty, claims to be the "press platform" for the Boogaloo movement, whose followers are radical pro-gun advocates who embrace the idea of a second American Civil War — which they call the boogaloo — and reject most forms of authority.

The Tree of Liberty website is hosted by the Montreal servers of OVH, a multinational cloud computing company headquartered in France. A spokesperson for the company said it was investigating the website.

The Tree of Liberty has suggested to its users that they can evade law enforcement surveillance because the website is hosted outside of the U.S.

ANTI-TRUMP NONSENSE?
I have had enough of the anti-Trump rhetoric in the Sun. I understood you were going to go for the most sensational headline as the grand finale in the U.S. election, so I just skipped over it in the last couple of days. But, today it was just asinine. On Page 7, a piece of crap labelled “Unhinged prez” by Reuters. A declaration by professional nutbar Nancy Pelosi, voicing her concern that Trump would order a nuclear strike. Are you kidding! This is pure BS meant to agitate an already agitated population, and discredit further the sitting president. Why would a legitimate paper print this garbage. I really hope you change direction and stop supporting this garbage.

^Yeah, that's someone expressing a stupid opinion but not calling for violence, crime or restricting the rights of others. I don't think she deserves to be publicly ostracized for this and certainly doesn't deserve to potentially lose her livelihood.

Oh wow, the kid who got fired from his job almost got me fired up enough to knock the cobwebs off an old twitter account and respond.

Talk about missing the point.

The best part is that it was the NHL that got him canned. They told his company they would cancel the entire contract if they employed him.

7) I called the owner of PJS and asked for any explanation, and he told me very bluntly: the @NHL found out I worked for the Trump campaign and threatened to cancel the contract with PJS unless they fired me.

DISCLAIMER: Seth Abramson, who is moderately problematic and has some dumb takes at times.

This however is a mostly factual compilation of events without much editorializing and I applaud him for it.
