well no doubt the M2 will have the long grill though since that looks like the 240i
but jesus christ bmw
The halo DRLs were perfect. They didn't need to change. Who is doing this. Why
edit: looks like black plastic on the rear bumper instead of being painted? it's worse than I thought

I'm skeptical the M2 will have the pig nose. All the spy shots seem to show a similar front to the regular 2 series.

As you can see by the above camo photo the M2 is getting the wide fender treatment absent on the regular 2 Series. Also from the camo shot the new M2 appears to have a power dome on the hood like the F8x series.

I mean that's obviously true but human beings are awful, and the prevalence of the SUV / CUV is the most obvious instantiation of that truth.

But Safety! Not yours though... or a pedestrian's... or theirs if evasive maneuvers and/or quick braking are required.

Well if I ever buy that new Sienna, at least I can put fake teeth on that grill and my kids will love it. So I'll have that going for me, which will be nice.
But fata a mini-van comeback. We need a wagon comeback, obviously.

There isn't a more comfortable vehicle for moving people and their stuff than a minivan. Fata sport utes. They're hilariously stupid. I've yet to see a middle aged woman take her Highlander off road and I don't think I ever will.

Hey now, no need to fight. Wagons for people with 0-2 kids. Minivans for people with 2+ kids and/or a crapton of stuff.

Hey, hey, hey. I'm driving an SUV. This is my first one and as a guy that's spent his entire life driving sporty cars I have to say there are some benefits as it's a much more carefree experience. I don't have to be paranoid of catching a front lip on parking dividers. Never have to worry about pulling and out of driveways at the perfect angle to prevent rubbing the front of the car. No sweating bullets when entering some steep underground parkade entrances. No need to avoid side streets in the winter or carefully maneuver around hardened snow banks. I will probably go back to a car with my next vehicle but owning the X3MC has been the most carefree ownership experience ever for me.

I realize my situation is a bit of an outlier, but as someone with 2+(+) kids, we found a minivan too limiting , try as we might. The main differentiator is the extra width and extra space behind the third row vs. a minivan... Having roughly double the horsepower is a nice bonus too
That said, I will concede for most family duty, a minivan is a more practical option... Which matters if practicality is high on your list of priorities.

Not sure I agree with this - what kind of SUV are you talking about, a stretch Suburban?
Minivans are generally superior to "SUV's" (as in a MDX/Highlander) in terms of cargo space behind the 3rd row... and of the 3rd row itself.
Last gen Sienna had 296 HP I believe... not too shabby, unless you're comparing to the $100K+ SUV market which for sure, will have more hp.

Yah, I’d be curious what we’re comparing to. My wife was as anti-van as you can get and now we joke that she should work for Toyota as she’s sold at least three Siennas to her friends.
We compared pretty much every van and SUV and we just could not make an SUV work with the limited space behind the third row. And hilariously, our van has pretty much the exact same clearance as many SUVs and is AWD. We have a few dodgy country roads before we get to our house, so clearance can be an issue when we get deep snow. I ended up getting a truck, but I strongly considered buying a second stupid van just because how handy they are.

And in some ways they're even handier than trucks. We just did a move on the weekend and you can fit way more in my Sienna even with the middle row still in than in my F-150. Obviously you don't want to throw dirty things in the van with the same ease you can use a truck box for, but for carrying boxes they're the best. It's the reason moving vehicles are cube vans and not flatbeds.

Totally. I’d say it’s 50/50 when we’re going to go pick up something if we decide to use the van or truck. I am cheating a bit, I have a second truck that we use for dump runs etc. as I’m babying my new truck for sure. But yah, we have done some major furniture picks ups with the van with no issue.
Actually, there is one thing the truck absolutely is amazing at. We have a handful of friends and family that we do bottled water pick ups for. We can put a ton of those big bottles of water in the back of the truck and they fit perfectly underneath the tonneau cover. So, score one for the truck, but the van still holds a commanding lead.

I'm in the 0-2 kids group (2), so definitely prefer a wagon. That being said, we are not very good at trimming down what we take on trips, so I'd probably have to throw a cargo carrier on top as well. Need to work on that part.

I love wagons, too.
They're not as comfortable as a van, though. This is how my kids roll:
But yeah, more power to you if you have a wagon as your family road-trip vehicle. It's a great second best.

That's pretty awesome....especially when you consider what a giant POS the Pony was, even for 80s standards. They sold them here till 1987 (and 1990 overall), but I don't recall seeing any on the road after the early-mid 90s, they rusted away so quick.
