I predict that a contract is announced at 12:41 PM today for 7 years at 7.2 million dollars per season. It will be announced either by Elliotte Friedman or the Flames themselves.

Is Treliving going back to New York, or is Gaudreau coming to Calgary to hammer this out (and be here so that he'd be able to join the team right away)? It's truly crunch time now - a little over 48hrs until the season starts.

I've reported a few of his posts because I feel that he's spamming the board and am sick of reading his same view shoved down the throat of every thread over and over. I'm curious as to how the mods think he's adding to the discourse in a positive way because I just can't see it.
Kind of sucks tbh.

I feel like anyone that posts too frequently brings down the quality of the Board. I come here for the quality of discussion and to get multiple perspectives. Reading too much of one person's view or opinions is just not that interesting. I don't feel that way about breaking news posts obviously. Just my opinion.
I understand why people want to speculate on Gaudreau. I do too.

i'd like another blooper like was noted in post #1,592 in the thread.
I think the poster and what he or she is doing is not an accident.
But I think whatever their intent was, it's not working very well.

I honestly believe that the deal was worked out in New York. When things get striaghtened out with waiver claims tomorrow and Bollig clears, Pulkinnen/Parenateau is claimed and money is moved around the deal will be announced.
