A lot of Americans genuinely don't have trust left in their government, so they're OK doing exactly what you said.

Garry Kasparov ✔ @Kasparov63
Trump's "President Day 1" checklist: 1 Jail opponent. 2 Media crackdown. 3 Support Assad. Coincidentally, that was also Putin's checklist.

Why do they bother having those polls?

The sites probably do them to drive traffic. Why anyone actually takes those kinds of polls even remotely seriously? I have no idea, other than delusion. You'd think the fact that his support dropped like a rock after the first debate where he won most of the online polls and none of the scientific ones would get through to some people but apparently not.

I honestly don't know where CNN finds these Trump supporters, but they sure do deliver. The screencap tells the tale here (video in tweet)

Nate Silver: Doubling down on a loyal 35% of the electorate is an uncannily brilliant strategy in a 17-way primary but not looking so hot in the general.

I think she does way better than most politicians, thinking on her feet.
At keast her answers aren't ISIS when asked tax questions.

I thought those pins were just from some random site, then I noticed that's coming right from Trump's site. Holy moly that's just so pathetic, embarrassing, sad......everything.

I am kind of tempted to buy a red MAGA hat just to have as a collectors item. Just trying to decide if it's worth giving money to the Donald for.
