Hey Syl, still sure that Carr is playing with superior weaponary? Reek and Travis Kelce is a mighty fine duo of playmakers. Chiefs are just a bad matchup for the Raiders it appears.

Chiefs could be down right now. D steps up twice and the Raiders botch the FG.

Worry for the Chiefs is Carr has done nothing so far, but does very well in the 4th quarter.

Raiders way too cute there. 3rd and 1 just get the first down first.

Especially when you're running it pretty well. But Kansas City's defense won the game in that third quarter sequence. The Raiders had the ball twice with a combined 36 yards to the end zone and gained only 5 yards and scored 3 points. Big job stepping up.

Yay Chiefs!
Who says innovation is dead, Chiefs keep finding new crazy ways to win
Can't wait to see a Chiefs and Raiders game in Vegas.
Crappy news about Johnson though. That might be the end for him. He's been 's great pro for the Chiefs.

It's pretty hilarious reading some of the "Yeah the Chiefs won, but can they really win the SB with Alex Smith as QB?". As if we didn't just witness a team win the Super Bowl with the 50th best QB in the NFL not even 11 months ago. With an amazing defense you can always go far in this league.

The finish in the AFC West is going to be a blast.

I wasn't watching. I boycotted Thursday night games years ago. I've also really not been paying much attention to the NFL this year. Had some personal stuff come up over the past month or so and just haven't and my head/heart just haven't been in it, hence why I kind of ghosted on my gambling thread.

Andy Reid has his faults and flaws, no doubt about. I just don't think you could name five better coaches in the NFL. There are only two for sure in Belichick and Carroll. But only three seasons under .500 in 18 years is mighty impressive. I'm sure Eagles fans miss him at least a little, especially since their current coach is the less good version of Andy Reid.

We've seen teams like this win one SB, but to win multiple SBs requires a HOF QB?

Denver had a HOF QB last year....you know, the 50th best QB in the NFL? You need a complete team to win, and defense mostly. Pats only Super Bowl since 2005 was when they had a great defense again. Great defense + average QB wins you the SB more often than great QB with average team. Otherwise Peyton would have 10 rings. Saints are really the only recent Super Bowl winner I would say that was mostly carried by the QB and not the defense. Maybe the Ravens too, and that was obviously a one shot deal.
