Given that the really rare Pokemon I have caught all have crap CP (Lapras = 287, Snorlax =431, Dragonite = 46) I am very thankful for the Eevee army I have amassed but it still sucked hatching them so am happy they got demoted to 5km eggs. I am sure there will be a new bane for my 10km hatchings though haha.

Me neither. I had a sea of 5Km eggs with a few 2km eggs thrown in for the last few months. Then I cleared out almost all my eggs at end of xp event on lucky egg run with 1x incubators I had saved up. For the last week the 10Km eggs have been popping for me!
I started off pretty luke-warm on PokemonGo but its been a pretty good mobile game. Extra incentive to get some exercise and I have visited a bunch of really cool parks I had no clue about. First online game my wife has ever played too.
That said I can't help but think of how much more this could be. I think Niatanic has tried to do a good job for the most part but augumented reality games have so much potential. Can you imagine playing a really good RPG game in the real world?

New update coming this way adding mass transfer option, as well as paving the way for new corporate sponsorship. Whether that sponsorship is limited almost exclusively to the U.S. remains to be seen.

Sprint announced as first partner, as well as Dec 12 as date to look for new Pokémon to be introduced.

I had to google if they still existed because I haven't had one since September. Right after I googled it and hit a stop later in the day, I finally got a 10 km egg.

I've gotten a few 10k eggs, but 2k eggs are less now too. I used to get almost the same number of 2k and 5k eggs, but now it seems like I get 3-5 5k eggs for every 2k egg.
I understand that update to read as "Information on the release of new pokemon on Dec 12", not "release of new pokemon on Dec 12th.
Speaking of the new Pokemon, I hatched Porygon out of a 5k egg two days in a row, so I have a leg up on getting my porygon2.

With my six 10km eggs I hatched a scyther, pinsir, onix, rhyhorn and two aerodactyls. Pretty salty I still haven't hatched anything really rare from 10km eggs but c'est la vie. The only good thing that came of that lucky egg spree was my second gyrados evolved has dragon breath which isn't great but much better then getting twister again. Hopefully the Christmas event is good.

Pretty sure that was in the last patch. The new patch adds the ability to transfer multiple pokemon at once.

I only noticed that change this morning with sightings being on the bottom of the nearby panel. As of yesterday mine only had nearby pokestops as an option, but that was downtown and maybe it shows those as priority.

Yeah you must have missed the last update by a couple weeks. Just an FYI if you want to transfer multiple pokemon just hold one for a few seconds and then start clicking on the ones you want to transfer. I did 300 this morning imagine doing it one at a time.

Since the adjustment of Pokémon CP recently, Rhydon has become valuable, as 3rd highest CP mon. Ridiculously massive Rhyhorn nest here at a huge park across the street from the Big O.
Wandered around more than 10k over 4 hours this afternoon, and caught 108 Rhyhorn. Among them were enough high IV (with emphasis on Attack, as it is most important in CP formula) to create 5 2800+ Rhydon (including blowing off about 120k dust).
It might have been overkill.

We talking the Big O tire store or Big O the Nenshi commissioned art?
I've only got a moderate sized Rhydon with a D-rated moveset. I wouldnt mind another. The only issue is the double vulnerability to water. Ive used 1300 staryu to clear out big rhydons.

He's in MTL.
Not to mention vaporeons. But this game has never been difficult to down a gym.
Which is too bad. I'd love to see a big CP difference be unbeatable; reward the stronger pokemon a little bit more.

Yeah. Rhydon is pretty easy to take down.
Its more about more placeholders in gyms.
I had a 2670 Vape kicked out of level 10 gym this morning, as low Pokémon guard.
2800+ pretty much always places in the top half.

Good point. Being higher up in a gym keeps you in far longer.
Although, there may be 1 exception: I plunked a 950 Chansey into the bottom spot of a level 8. It's been (and still is) up longer than anything else I've placed recently.

Chanseys make great tanks. Their hp is high enough that often players will time out before they can take a higher CP Chansey down.
