Just didn't show up defensively. Inexcusable. Did they not know how they managed to win the last two games? It wasn't a much better offense...

This game is over...like really, really over.
However, they should make it their goal to at least win the 4th quarter. They have to believe they can win in Cleveland, and a strong 4th would help their mental approach.

This is hard to believe

With Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry's night over, his Eastern Conference finals splits: In two home wins 55 points, 8-for-15 3-point range, five turnovers. In three road losses 31 points, 2-for-19 3-point range, 14 turnovers

So did anyone else get that score update with reports that biyombo will likely be getting a minimum of $16 mil a year?

Just read it and that seems insane. I'd guess anywhere from $6-$8million max.

I think he'll be well over $10,000,000.
That clip of him playing defence on JR Smith at the 3 point line is awesome. Very few centers in the league could do that. For a team that doesn't need their 5 to score, he'll be a perfect fit.

No, first 2 rounds they (minus scola, he's awful) did step up when both Lowry/Derozen struggled. How soon people forget.
Didn't expect a win today. Hopefully they can get the 3rd at home.

It was one play I doubt he could do that regularly. I love Biyambo he's actually one of the few Raptors I like. He's such a beast but I think he's got to prove himself more before he gets a big contract.

Sure it was one play.
But it was an extremely impressive play, in the playoffs, against a good player.
Defending the pick and roll is key for a center. BB had a huge platform to demonstrate he could do it. he knocked it out of the park. At 23 there will be bumps and warts but he showed his potential.
The man will get paid.

I didn't expect a single win this series to be honest. Games 1,2 and 5 are how I thought it was going to go. Not quite as bad but sickening enough to make you turn off the TV.
Even if they don't win another one it's way more than they could have expected.
Plus it's excellent theater. The script is like it's been done by the WWE writers. They get thrashed twice and then look like they have turned it around only to get smoked bigtime again. Now what? Win game six and then get beat by 100 in game 7?

I actually thought they'd lose by 10-15 and not 40. Cavs probably close it out in 6, but the Raps have done well when they've needed it so maybe this will go to Sunday.

It'll probably be a story now because they lost, but of course Simmons has to go off the hyperbole deep end in that article.

Classic story about people assuming everyone's schedules must be the same as theirs or else something is off. Maybe they are up to 2am every night, if they are "out" or not. It's not like they are working a 9-5 and need to get up early to go to work. Go to bed at 3, get 7 hours, and wake up at 10. Seems reasonable to me, if the game doesn't actually start until 8:30 that night. Could even have a nap in there too.

Yeah, I mean I could understand if they were out getting hammered or something, but going out to a Casino is a pretty passive activity.
