Well, McShane won't be Euron / Euron-Victarion hybrid:

Has me thinking more and more that McShane could end up as the damphair, although that would make him older than Euron. Of course, with his surly disposition, I guess McShane could end up being Randyll Tarly as well...although I don't really want to hate him.

Doesn't he seem too young to be Euron? The actor is only a couple years older than Alfie Allen.

I think this should just remain a thread for a full, no holds barred discussion of all aspects of the GoT universe, assuming everyone has read the books and watched the shows.
Splitting it into three - Show Only (no spoilers from books), Book Only (no spoilers from show), and Combined - just seems unwieldy, and I'm betting there won't be a significant number of people who avoid the show in order to not spoil the book.

This thread is about the books, the show has been drawn into it obviously because the show is based on the books. Discussing spoilers from the show IMO is not that much different than speculating on what will happen next in the books. Martin himself has said that he and the show creators have the same ending point, but will follow different paths to get there.

I think this can be a no-holds barred thread for the entire Songs of Ice and Fire universe.
I doubt it would even be possible to disentangle the book/show discussions and speculation at this point.
If people wish to maintain a "pure" book reading experience.....good luck with that. They will need to create their own thread.

Watchers on the Wall have some more rumours/spoilers up involving John and ToJ. Looks as though we will see the ToJ through Brans vision.

Any reason folks wouldn't just include "leaked" information in spoiler tags, like FlameOn did?
Totally agree that trying to filter out info from "aired" episodes would be impossible though.
