For me Lindstrom might be as polarizing as eiserman.

I think minimally Lindstrom carves out a bottom six career. One of those guys that always leaves you wanting more. Or he could be a nasty top line centre but im not sure he has enough iq to not always paint himself into corners? Could be either equally.

Like i said in a way a safe pick but Catton is top six or bust methinks. Dickinson i cant see as anything but a top pair defender .

Yup, Dickinson might just be the first D taken.

Isn't SJ heavily scouting Levshunov?

As much as MTL is scouting Tij. I'd put Levshunov as the 1st D taken.

That's the most likely scenario in my opinion, but you never know. I wouldn't blame a team for taking Dickinson first, though. He's pretty amazing.

I don't want Tij on the Habs.

But if they are that crazy and take him to drop a better talent to us, then so be it.

Let's dream a little, but not the whole way.
If Calgary were to win the lottery for the #2 overall pick, whom do you choose?
Demindov, Dickinson, Levshunov, or Silayev?

Michael Hage is now 2nd in USHL scoring, with 52gp/32g/41a/73pts. His ppg is tied with Trevor Connelly's, at 1.40.

Are Catton and Lindstrom options?

I would take Dickinson at #2. I would take Levshunov next and then Demindov. I am not sold on Silayev.

Tij up to 5 goals in the playoffs already. I'm taking him unless we're picking 1 lol.

Frick I’m on the Iggy train now.

Goals after 4 playoff games:

Iginla - 6
Lindstrom - 1
Catton - 0

I’m happy with Iginla at any spot in the draft except #1

9th or later I'll be totally fine with it.

1st-8th I'd lean towards one of the consensus top prospects (since you'd have someone from the 5 stud d-men (I don't include Yakemchuk), Catton, Lindstrom and Demidov on the board)

Am hoping the Rockets win round one so we can get a look at him against a good team in round 2.

He looks really solid in round 1 though Wenatchee isn't a great measuring stick, as they're pretty poor since trading Geekie and Savoie away. Though I will say that I saw him as a 15-20 pick early in the year, he was pure perimeter and doing a lot of cherry picking and his game has improved immensely, he's going into high traffic areas and scoring in tight now, he'll go 10-15 I'm guessing now and maybe someone even reaches at 8 or 9 if all the forwards go early and they don't want to draft one of the top ranked dmen

What’s tough for the flames is that they will get way more heat for taking Iginla higher than projected… if Montreal takes him at 6th overall, no one will say it’s because of his name… if Calgary takes him at 6th overall, some people will be saying that. I would be so excited if that happened though. Really hope the flames can find a way to get him.

Aiden Fink would be my longshot next gaudreau comp. I wish the flames would have taken a swing on him last year in the 7th especially with him playing right in their backyard. Big whiff in my opinon taking a Swedish stay at home dmen instead the likes of which/skillset that there are about 10 undrafted ufas every year with.

not that Fink is anything remotely approaching a sure thing but he has a unique skillset and a ridiculous ability to score, is lighting it up as an ncaa rookie after destroying the ajhl. Surprised no one took a flyer on him earlier.
